Greedy moonbats don't like Trump

Here is a list of the 7 states (and DC) which have the highest STATE income taxes:
New York 8.82%
California 13.3%
DC 8.95%
New Jersey 8.97%
Vermont 8.95%
Oregon 9.9%
Iowa 8.98%
Minnesota 9.85%Currently, states that collect income taxes not only get that money, but since those taxes are deductible from the FEDERAL income taxes, the rest of the country is subsidizing those states. That is clearly not fair.
President Trump has been advocating that the deduction for state income taxes be eliminated for years. He pointed out that it was not fair to the other states to have to subsidize states that have state income taxes. Obviously he is correct.Notice something about that list. The only state in that list that did not go for Trump in the election is Iowa.
Those 6 states and DC comprised MOST of Hillary's electoral votes! Now consider the most horrible thought of all time.. that Hillary won the election. If she did, it would have been because Trump insisted on doing the right thing and taking away the unfair tax advantages of massive states such as New York, New Jersey, and California.
This answers a question I had for a long time.. why is it that New Jersey and New York voted for Hillary? THIS is WHY!
Furthermore.. the media in the USA is monopolized by New York and California. By pissing off those 2 states.. you have all the media outlets and all the celebrities against you.

The first paragraph assumes that the election was about policy when it was about personality and a perception of social equality. The election was a terrible choice. NY and NJ voted Hilary because they hated Trump and Trump was a proxy for a certain portion of the electorate; the reverse is also true. The number of people who understood the real issues were in the minority across the board.
Your second paragraph is true. It's a sign that all the propaganda didn't and isn't working absolutely – no doubt it's in part to POTUS being able to communicate directly through Twitter.

I was not clear enough in my previous post. I didn't mean to imply what the election was about.. but what minor issues tipped the scales. Frankly, despite all the negativity and fake news hurled at Trump.. he STILL won. The problem with the dems is that they peaked too early.. and by the time the election rolled around, a lot of their attacks fell flat or backfired.

Property and/or sales tax states don't get to write off their state tax burdens.
Northern New England states get subsidized heating, but the Midwest states don't.
Southern states don't get any subsidized A/C.
