I would like to ask this question only guys who are actually thinking of a serious relationship with one guy.
Sorry, but if guys who just want to do hook-ups will answer that they prefer being alone in a relationship or just date/meet occasionally - it won't make any point to the topic. I wanted to create a poll but I don't really know how to do it lol.

So do you prefer to be in a really closed relationship or have a plenty of freedom. I'm talking about extremes here. It hit me because I was always dreaming about the perfect relationship built on trust, helping each other and being together through better or worse. The my friend confronted me that he prefers to have his space in a relationship. He wants a guy but he has a really big expectations towards one and still he's a loner. While me with all my weird mental problems I just don't like being alone. I usually just spend time on the internet or watching something to just kill the time. So:

      My vision:

      • you two live together in one house
      • you two are or would like to marry one day
      • you have your friends and he has his but you both know all of them and talk about them and eventually meet
      • you go to the city, bbq's and parties together and you enjoy being together everywhere but you don't get too jealous if one person goes somewhere alone but you just prefer to go together
      • you go on trips you see the world together
      • you sleep in one bed not necessarily touching after some time
      • you say I love you, you say why, you miss each other
      • you need to fulfill promises
      • if apart you feel the need to call him and talk to him
      • you are keen on raising for example a dog together

      His vision:

      • you have a lot of freedom
      • you don't have to say anything or explain anything
      • you don't have to go anywhere together, you have your own friends, stay this way
      • you meet in a cycled fashion: for some time you sleep at his house, he can sleep at yours, but there's a time that you just don't see each other because you need time for yourself and you like to be alone
      • you don't live together, ever
      • you don't want anything to bond you with him (a dog, a commitment) it's good the way it is
      • nothing bad happens if you don't answer the phone or text/back

      Which one would you choose?

I don't see what's the point of being in a relationship if you're not actually gonna "commit" and spend time with each other, might as well just call it friends with benefits if you're just ignoring the other person whenever you want.
