And this is only the beginning. #45 is about to learn a lot of the same lessons that criminal Richard Milhous Nixon learned all those years ago.

Trump said today that the "real story" is that there are leaks in the White House.  In other words the problem is not Flynn's actions…..it's that he got caught.  This is horrifying.  Even if you are corrupt enough to think this you aren't supposed to say it!

Only if he created the criminality, purposely and knowingly protected criminals, and purposely and knowingly destroyed or altered evidence in said crime.

You will need to convince both Houses of Congress of the above.

Unlike Nixon, who faced both Houses of Democrats, Trump will face both Houses of Republicans.

Well, if the rumors are true, which to me, it's starting to seem likely they are, Trump could face a judge and a possibly a prison cell.

Edit: Don't think it isn't possible, Christie could be going to prison for far less. http://nypost.com/2017/02/16/judge-finds-probable-cause-to-charge-christie-over-bridgegate/

I also think that you're forgetting that many Republicans already turned on him prior to the election. I'm 100% confident that if the actual Republicans (Remember: Donald was once a Democrat) ever perceive Donald to be a threat to the party, they will quickly eject him. They have plenty of reasons already and I foresee a power struggle either way. It wouldn't be hard to catch the guy lying under oath as I don't think he's capable of separating fantasy from reality.

At this point, not much would surprise me.

I think todays press conference is going to go down in history as the beginning of the end for America.

I hope the people that put this incompetent disgusting piece of orange trash in office are happy. Those 77,000 voters spread across the districts of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan giving him those three states will regret their votes. I cannot wait to participate in the upcoming protests where I live. There's a Republican teacher organizing another one soon that was on the news tonight. I guess that's one upside to all this, I've never seen so many Democrats, Republicans and Independents in South Carolina coming together like this. The people united against Mr. Agent Orange and his administration of incompetent crooks.

If you can stomach it, watching the entire press conference is a mind-boggling experience: https://www.c-span.org/video/?424148-1/president-trump-holds-news-conference
