Is anyone else getting frusterated with some uploaders
-
So first let me just say thank you to everyone who uploads new content period I appreciate it very much. I am getting really annoyed at the lack of descriptions and/or pictures in peoples upload. Especially when the uploaded has made up a name for the file and title of the torrent. Don't get me wrong I get why names are changed and what not. I too want to avoid my uploads being flagged and removed. I get that but when you do that and then your description is 2 words like Horny Couple and you have one picture which is a for example a close up and so you can't even see who's in it then it makes it a bit difficult to figure out what it is. Maybe it's just me and I spend to much time on mine getting descriptions and taking screen shots so perhaps I'm just to OCD and everyone else is cool with it. It's just getting to me. Especially when it's a collection for and I'll use the last guy I got off to as an example. Lets say its a Trevor Knight collection that's 12GB. I'm hesitant to download without know especially if its something I would totally destroy my ratio.
Does this annoy anyone else or is it just me?
Thanks for letting me vent. -
I've considered commenting in comment section of the ones like that but I don't want to piss anyone off since I'm not a moderator

I used to do just that…
and it got very tiresome after doing that about 10 times (especially when it seemed like it wasn't making any difference). ???
I also posted my frustrations regarding the same as well...

This post actually resulted in me getting "WARNED" for whatever reason :-...

Anyway, good luck with that :)…
hope you have better results than I did. ???

I hear you on this one loud and clear my friend. Since the only person who is notified of a torrent comment is the uploader, I would recommend hitting the "report" button instead and pointing out that the torrent is obscure. I have been trolling through the list of torrents and improving what I can as I find them. I know one of my biggest pet peeves is when people upload multiple torrents with the same picture, same obscure description, and the same irrelevant picture. I've been known to pull people's upload rights for that, forcing their uploads to go through the old torrent review process before being posted.

Thanks for letting me vent. No…it is definitely not just you--and from my own experiences…venting is about all the satisfaction you’ll get in your efforts to shed light on the issue (problem)–I gave up (especially when it seems like I'm seeing it a lot more often).
I even had a "template" that I would just copy, paste and fill in the blanks...
Thanks for the upload.
I am curious about one thing though…
Why didn’t you rename the video from the cryptic title, , to something more descriptive such as, , before you created and uploaded your torrent? ???
I see this all the time in uploads to the site, and I've decided to start asking, “Why?” (I never did get an answer. :()So…the “torch” is now yours!
…and--good luck with that! >:D

I agree on this one.
I find it frustrating and sometimes I don't download the torrent just out of fear that I already have some or most of the content. Especially when there's multiple content involved.
The lack of pictures is also an issue'
While I appreciate the uploaders it would be nice if some would take more pride and a little time and build a nice presentation to their post. -

Well said…and I couldn't agree with you more!
(Personally…regarding the "lack of pictures"--that's fine by me…gives me a chance to earn some points! :D)

I comment when I find ones with missing info that I know/have. Not about pissing someone off in my eyes. The reality is some ppl have limited bandwidth and can't really afford to d/l duplicate (say same video but different size, etc.) or even a true dupe. Since there is a penalty for leeching.

agreed. sometimes the pics uploaded are completely useless. couple screen shots would suffice nicely (showing who's in it of course, since we all know someone somewhere will upload one of a close up of a hole think thats fine but no, it's not)

I upload quite a bit. I wouldn't change a file like Colby _ Marten - The Movie _ Sean Cody.mov as it does say what's on the video. I do lots of siterips and to change names to 400 files for me is nerve wrecking. If the file is just some random # and letters, then I would or I'd try to find another downloader that saves files with names. I'm not good with photos but I try to find that screencapture photo and I usually leave others to upload photos because I know some keep their ratio up by uploading photos and other stuff. But it's hard with uploading new videos because of duplicates so you just try to upload as fast as you can.
I get what you're saying. When I wanted to get videos of some site I had to go through all videos I downloaded because I'd download some videos 3 tmes or more without knowing.
But you know, you could also at least click thank you at least for collection uploads. Not because I'd want some appreciation, but because when I upload next part of collection, I'd like to let those that downloaded previous part know, that next part is out. That goes to those hat don't have restrictions, because if I can't write you PM, what's the point. -
It is pretty annoying, that is why when I upload something I try to post as much info as I can.

When you say "the file"–are you referring to the video (.mp4, .flv, .avi, etc.)?
If yes, then why not rename the video after you've downloaded it? ???

You can PM any member, even those with restrictions if you know their userID number
