Problems downloading HUGE uploads with only one seeder and many leechers…

With offers such as this, that might be difficult to get a “complete” copy of due to being dead every so often before being snatched; maybe downloaders should select just a portion of the package, then immediately post a comment stating which portion they’re downloading. Then other downloaders should select a different portion, and again immediately comment, noting their choices.
Once, a selected portion has been completely downloaded, it can then be uploaded as a much smaller, and easier to snatch offering; and repeating the processes with the various remaining segments, might result in another “complete” set.
I don’t know how feasible this all is, but it’s just a thought.

I'm annoyed with the frequency of incomplete collections being uploaded. You want to upload a site rip go for it. But recently a lot of the torrents are just 10 random 4-gig movies uploaded in 1 torrent. Then it's a nightmare trying to download the thing from one seeder.

my understanding is that the original seeder, the way it works, is they always send a new piece, never repeat pieces, until its all uploaded (and everyones sharing). so maybe theyve just a crappy upload speed with limited time, but with what they have its optimally uploaded, sadly =/

As for the original point, this would be dependent on each user individually opting to do this due to the nature of the way that torrents work… So it wouldn't be very practical sadly.

People simply need to stop uploader huge files or many folders of files at once if they don't have the upload speeds to manage it. Some are just too impatient to properly upload videos and don't care if they were successfully downloaded by others.
