All of you "weak" uploaders (you know who you are)…
-
Why do you continue to upload your offerings with no screenshots, descriptions that don't describe anything, and (my favorite) videos with titles like CH-12xt.50 (or some weird shit like that)?
Seriously, why?
Is it laziness? Ignorance? Unaware of the uploading rules?
Or is it that you just don't give a fuck?
I would really like to know why.

Thank you for saying what I've been wanting to say for a couple weeks but didn't want to stir things up. Now I feel confident about saying when you're uploading a file don't upload a second file until the first one has been download by at least three people. There is no reason a 500mb file should take 7 hours to download. At first I thought it was because of how many people wanted it until I noticed that there were 5 more files uploaded at the same time and based on studio and things in description I'd be willing to bet seed bonus points it was all done by the same person

While I can echo that waiting forever to download a torrent is frustrating, especially when there's no pictures, an improper or completely absent description, I do have to point out one key thing that you may not have considered.
A lot of the users that I see who seem to have this practice all come from a country where English is not their primary language, and most often, are using browsers with a system language other than English. I can't help but wonder with these cases if the problem in most of the cases may be that the user simply does not understand what is expected and does not have a sufficient knowledge of what they're doing to get the upload right by the rules as they're written. As a general rule, this is the reason why I encourage anyone who sees what they suspect may be multiple uploads by a slow uplaoder to report said uploads so that we can handle them accordingly. Just remember… Just because our average user cannot see information such as who uploaded a torrent, what all they're seeding, and what other uploads that they may have on the go, this does not mean that our staff and moderators are blind to this information. We've always been able to see such things, as our position within the site requires us to be able to. We have ways of dealing with these things.

I understand.
With regard to the fact that many members are non-English speaking, I see that there are sub-boards and groups, as well as forum postings, geared towards some of the various non-English members.
Perhaps the site’s rules and such, can be made available in the languages of these particular sub-boards, and posted at each one accordingly. Of course, I can’t verify that this may already be the case, as I am one who’s limited to being fluent in only one language–English.

I think that the majority of the rules and such are available on the different language boards, but if I'm not mistaken, things like the upload guide, the list of banned material, and a couple of other important side pieces are not available in those languages. It would be awesome if we had language mods to translate these pages so that a user can just click the corresponding language flag/icon to have the page reload in their language. I think this may go a long way to helping solve that problem.

Do tell. Better yet, do share. It would seem pointless dealing with it and not filming it.
~direct from the internet - gaytorrent.ru mods deal with "weak" uploaders with a hands on approach. the mods and users perform under different names. if anyone can figure out whose who be sure to add it in the comment section. my upload is slow but my download is super fast, please adjust my ratio by adding seed points.

I totally agree. But I don't believe it is ONLY or even MOSTLY non-Eng speakers.
I had posted in these forums before (question about upload rules for collection etc). And got really snarky replies from very fluent English speakers basically saying "it's too much work/effort".
So EVERY time I decide to make the mistake (always ends up as a mistake) and d/l a collection of 8-20 videos with 0-2 screencaps, random descript details (almost ALWAYS wrong) or (my personal favorite) pics of performers NO WHERE in ANY OF THE VIDEOS, I will comment (when I get burned and my ratio takes the hit) that performer are absent vs posted pix or mislabeled or ACTUAL dups INSIDE THE COLLECTION with variations on title (ie f_ckfest with Armond Rizzo/f_ckfest with Joey Rodriguez).
The response in forum was "it takes too much work" to screencap EVERY video, included accurate (verified preferred) ss/bb, etc. I'm not going to get on the mod's etc since they are doing this for free. But the rules re: upload collections are BS!
So I try to avoid collections because EVERY ONE I have ever d/l from here all files or most of were mislabeled, had dups, corrupt files, etc.
And trust, I'm not new here or never uploaded either. What I DO see are collections slapped together likely to increase ratio but the info, pics, even corrupt video files are in the torrent. And the response is…it rides. And how am I to know BEFORE a torrent becomes popular that it will be popular so I should d/l first to be a seeder? I need a magic 8 ball to know in advance? Seriously?Lastly, before I turn off my rant…I WOULD donate but I'm NOT jumping over a canyon...swimming in artic...helium balloon to stratosphere AKA making a bitcoin account and funding and sending. It is overly complicated (it is called cryptocurrency for a reason).
THAT IS TOO MUCH WORK TO DONATE via BITCOIN!/r

I am contemplating u/l a site rip of 30GB. It contains 57 videos (with 5 photosets). And I just made screencaps for ALL in less than 10 min on my desktop. So the excuse "it's too much work" for a collection, even a LARGE one is BS!

I would really love to see this response myself actually. One of the ways that we can deal with users who simply refuse to follow the guidelines is to switch their profile back to moderator assisted approval for torrents. This allows us to have more control with these users. So by all means, please bring such cases to our attention so that we can handle them accordingly. I fully agree that "it's too much work/effort" is not a valid excuse for not posting at least a little something about the video.

Actually, believe it or not, the only person who gets notified of a comment on the torrent is the uploader, and I believe any other users who have commented on the torrent. In these cases, it's actually better to hit the report button and give a brief explanation of what the issue is there. This way, mods will see the report and can handle it accordingly. It's much more efficient this way because mods will see reports, but will only see comments if they happen to click on that torrent in the list and scroll down to see the comments.
