"....violating these rules may be deleted without notice" and so on......I'm into a bit of S&M and macho stuff however, never in my life have I seen such stupid sentences! It really sounds like it's coming directly from Mary Poppins dressed up in leather gear.
Am I going to be punished Mary?

What is your real problem? The owners created this site to give US an opportunity to share great stuff and they are working hard to keep this system running.
Is it a problem for you to get the stuff for free and to follow some house rules, to keep the system?
Do you have better words to make it clear - the admins are surely interesting in making things better - so come on, don't flame, be constructiv, tell us what and how to do better, that's the only interesting way.

Actually, I'm sure that lasbear was being constructive and humorous. He sent me a PM about another topic http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/forums.php?action=viewtopic&forumid=1&topicid=569 and I encouraged him to post his view. I'm not sure I would have chose the word "stupid," but then again, I used the word "childish" so maybe that's my bad example.
But yeah, lasbear does need to boost his ratio a bit. :unsure:

Hmm, I wrote the "New rules for downloads & punishments" news piece and I know for a fact that it isn't what you are claiming. In fact it says we no longer ban for low ratios. Maybe if you learned to read, you wouldn't see "such stupid sentences".
Without going looking into it further, I would bet that the OP got a systems warning for having a bad ratio and that is why he's upset.
To be honest, it's a no win situation for the staff. We are constantly getting yelled at by the good members because they are sick of the leeches, so we put new rules in to help stop the massive leeching. Then the leeches get mad and demand that we allow them to leech as much as they want.
We put rules in to stop spamming and the spammers get furious.
We ban multiple accounts and those people get furious. With a few exceptions, they are only doing it so they can keep leeching.
As Nuex said, we are always willing to listen to new ideas to make the site better. However, we will not entertain any ideas that allow the massive leeching and other unwanted behaviors.
Personally, I don't like many of the things in the NEWS section on the front page, but many of our users don't even know where the FAQS and RULES pages are. So where are we going to put these things so they see them?!

Just curious if members think our rules are still too strict or are they balanced to benefit those who work hard to upload and seed great content. No judgement here, I just want to here some candid points of view.
