Hi, is there a way to filter / search for torrents that must be in two categories?

For example, I'm looking for torrents that are Vintage AND Images.

          I third the question!

Because so far, I don't know where the 'secondary' categories are used. Shame to have such nice data but not being able to use it.

However, the day gaytorrent use interaction data to provide personalised recommendations, my bandwidth might breakĀ  :cheesy2:

Click the box before vintage and Images

If you are looking for a specific torrent, type it in the box after "Search" and click the button "Search/Refresh"

Simply checking the category boxes performs an OR search; it yields results that have Category A OR Category B. I think the request is for a way to search where every result is of both Category A AND Category B. In this case, anything just in Category A will be excluded from the results.

I noticed in Browse, under the gear icon, there is a filter called "Must be included". I checked to see if this would perform an AND search. Unfortunately it didn't. I assume that it should and that it's broken because when it is the only filter applied it does nothing to the search results. Meaning, it yields the same results as no filters applied. "Must be included" is a powerful feature. I hope it gets working again.

Hope it's ok to bump this. Using the browse page kind of works sometimes, but it's not consistent. At best I select one or more main categories and a 2nd required category, but even that it's giving me uploads that don't include the 2nd category. One of the mods said in the other thread that maintainers aren't computer scientists, which is entirely fair, but I am a software engineer, so I might be able to help (currently looking a request structure to see if it can be accomplished there)
