Lifetime political monsters such as Hillary Clinton tend to disguise their true agendas and motivations.

For instance.. loonies such as Hillary, Bernie Sanders, and Obama all have the core beliefs of being anti-capitalist, regulation over competition,  eliminating the wealthy class, and having the government impose themselves on every aspect of a citizen's life.. including their housing, healthcare, employment rules, salaries, retirement, everything.  Basically, they want everybody and everything controlled and regulated by the government.  That is the opposite of "Freedom".  In fact, there is a term for what their philosophy.. it's called "Communism".

Specifically, I don't think the government should be sticking their nose into health insurance nor any other type of insurance.  The government should strive to keep healthcare costs as low as possible.. so that people can AFFORD healthcare if they want and need it.  Nobody should be forced to pay for health insurance.. especially if they live a healthy lifestyle.  People like Hillary, Sanders, Obama like to impose their control upon everybody.

Hillary, like Obama, is a textbook American Liberal. Gauche caviar personified. Why do you think Communists claim to hate Liberals so much? People like HRC are precisely the reason why.

Of course, even most self-avowed "anti-Liberal" Socialists/Communists seem to be thoroughly upper/middle class, and curiously oblivious to their own materialistic, bourgeois lifestyles. A true Communist who practices what they preach, and actually has some business talking about class struggle/awakening (i.e., one who isn't some pampered, middle class armchair intellectual Lenin-wannabe, oblivious to their own hypocrisy and egomania), I can respect, even while disagreeing with them. But those Communists are few and far between.

No she's not, and Obama was one of the most conservative Presidents we have had in decades.

              @TheNewt:

You're going to have to define "Liberal" and "Conservative" for me, then, because what you said sounds to me like complete nonsense.

American Liberalism is far away from the Socialist Left, and neither Hillary or Obama seem to me to be anything but pandering Liberal politicians who talk a Libertarian Socialist game while raking in metric fucktons of cash for themselves. Which I thought I made perfectly clear in my above post. Liberalism is pure oligarchy with a lot of Socialist/multi-culti/progressive window dressing. However you feel about Socialism, this is not true Socialism. Conservatism, on the other hand, is pure oligarchy with a lot of Libertarian/patriotic/traditionalist window dressing.

Liberalism and Conservatism are both scams (more in practice than in theory, or by design) that preserve the status quo of serving an elite ruling class before all others under the guise of serving the common man. But their talking points and the groups they target are completely different. Obama is hardly on the Conservative end of the elitist oligarch shit sandwich. Doesn't matter if Lib/Cons. elites are interchangeable in terms of motive. He's obviously not Conservative based on his talking points alone.

He was both the most liberal and the most conservative, depending on his mood and/or situation.

He was a massive race baiter, which is clearly a liberal thing.

Obama was a flip flop merchant when it came to gay equality.  He even to credit for things he had nothing to do with.

Oddly, I wanted Hillary over Obama.  At least at the start.

The more I saw/learned of Hillary, the more I ended up hating her.  Most of it came from her feminist crap, such as he saying that women are the true victims of war because men go off to fight.

They've both always been at least moderately Liberal (or I should say Liberal-fronting, as politicians, by their very nature, are almost invariably malignant narcissists and oligarchs, not true believers in a sensible balance between liberty and equity for all) at their core. But, like any politician, they do lie, manipulate, twist, pander, "flip-flop", etc. according to their audience or what suits them at any given time. They can always claim "ignorance" and "learning from their mistakes" later if need be. Perfect example of this kind of noncommittal phoniness and deception being Obama's split personalities and the voices that accompanied them.

He had at least a couple: The serious, clearly enunciated, pregnant pause-laden "Presidential" voice, and the soaring, elongated, wavering, MLK-imitation/black preacher stereotype voice. Hugely distinct, to the point of one or both being obvious contrivances. And he would choose which he employed in his speeches, depending on the makeup of his audience. Because, apparently, everyone's too stupid to notice these kinds of obvious, blatantly manipulative affectations. How can anyone stomach being manipulated and condescended to so overtly? It's nauseating! But I'm getting off topic. Fact is, they've both been riding the Progressive-pandering wave of Liberalism for the last decade+. So, Liberals, flip-flops or no. Scum like every politician, but with a specific set of talking points with which to dazzle a specific set of partisan idiots, that set being modern "Progressives".

                    Great point!
Hillary will take whatever position that will get her the most votes and $$$.  She doesn't care.

I find so amusing the way americans talk about being liberal as a synonym for being leftist.
In my country (spain) when a politician talks about himself as a liberal you know he or she is either a conservative who favours markets, privatisations, deregulation (which is actually regulation in favour of the rich, you know), etc, or a "centrist" who favours the same thing but tries to pretend he is a leftist.

We usually call them and their politics as neoliberals.

And yes, Hillary is a neoliberal and obama too. They can be socially progressive in things like lgtb rights, feminism, etc, but economically they are the stablishment as much as righwing politicians.

So no, being liberal is not the same as being leftist.

Hillary is MUCH MUCH worse than Bill.  In fact, I don't think Bill wanted Hillary to win the 2016 election.
Maybe that is why Bill delivered the lamest endorsement speech ever at the DNC.. and called Obamacare the "craziest thing ever".
