How common is getting cheated by streamers?
-
once again... I asked a streaming performer to do something for me. In this case, I asked a performer to make a 2 minute custom video for someone's birthday. I asked him to do things that he does in almost all of his shows. The only difference is, I asked him to write my friends initials on his ass to show that it was made just for him. He agreed to do it, and after a couple of weeks, he finally said that will cost $35. I agreed, and asked him how to send him the money. After a couple of weeks, he came up with a way, and I sent him the money. That was a couple of weeks ago. He keeps promising to make the video... but says he is very busy. He is always very nice to me, but he still has not delivered. I don't want to nag him, but it is getting quite frustrating. Everytime I remind him, he responds in private saying he will do it after the show... but he doesn't do it. It hurts me when I try to help someone, who rejects my help. The guy does the same things for FREE almost every night that I asked him to do in that 2 minute video. $35 is roughly what he makes on the average day with his streaming. // I would add that the duo of Callum & Cole used to make a fortune, but now they typically have thousands of viewers, with virtually no tips! This makes Callum quite frustrated and he says he will shut the show down. It is often painful to watch streamers.

"How common is getting cheated by streamers?"
Very"I don't want to nag him, but it is getting quite frustrating."
Duh"It hurts me when I try to help someone, who rejects my help."
You're not "helping" anyone. Charity is helping people. Paying for a service is business."It is often painful to watch streamers."
Then don't.Just in case you actually never heard the expression before, a fool and his money are soon parted. You've complained about this sort of thing numerous times in the past, yet you still partake. Either you're a fool, or you have the financial means that make it not really matter, or both. It's 2023, and the whole "I gave a stranger on the internet money and didn't get anything in return" shtick on the whole is getting a bit old. I don't understand how we can be at this point without everyone being a bit more aware and just owning their mistakes.

@frostycab I watch very little streaming video anymore.
the case I just mentioned yesterday was a bit different, because The guy was already doing what I wanted him to do.. and he does it almost every day. The only difference was I wanted him to write my friend's initials on his ass. He writes stuff on his ass all the time.. but I wanted him to write those initials. I didn't come up with the price of $35, he did. He keeps saying he will do it, but doesn't.I know how he could get a lot more viewers and supporters and make a lot more money.. but while he typically says things like 'Wow! I like it! That's a great idea!" he very rarely takes any of my advice.
addendum. I know that last year, he used to work with another guy. it's strange that when doing solo shows, he moves around like a first class professional exotic dancer.. he knows how to seduce people.. yet.. when bottoming in a duo, he just lays there like an inanimate, motionless body while the other guy shoves it in. I know the cute guy also tops guys, but I have never seen that. I bet he does a great job as a top.
He posts pictures of his entire family. he is the only one that is very attractive.
