@blablarg18 What do polls of what the people think have anything to do with the facts of the matter? They're literally speculation at its finest and mean nothing in terms of the actual facts.
-
@MrMazda Agreed, sort of.
Facts are what they are, regardless what anyone thinks. "One person plus truth is a majority", Earth was round even back when people weren't sure, and so forth. Polls don't determine truth, and if a poll majority hits on a truth, one should consider it accidental.
Yet.... ..... yet...... here we are. Harvard-Harris, saying 56-59% majorities take these positions I knew to be factual even back when I was almost only one who thought them.
I'm as shocked as you are, maybe different reasons.
If you would like to discuss WHETHER or WHY these positions are factual, we could.
On recent experience, tho, I'm not really expecting you to. You made clear in another thread, that you don't agree or you find these positions weird. Which is fine, "you do you".
I'm sure you would title the post differently & it would be no problem, if you had.

@blablarg18 It's just that whether or not the poll hits on the truth does not change whether or not the belief is true. I just don't see how opinion (however popular or unpopular) can in any way determine what the facts are.
Don't get me wrong though... I'm not a fan of Biden, and I am also not a fan of Trump either. I find BOTH of them to be vile and disgusting humans (if you even want to call them that). Now... the interesting thing to see will be to see whether or not the majority of the masses are correct in their belief and assertion.
Simply put, I'm looking for the facts, regardless of however popular or unpopular that they may be by way of public opinion.
