You ever watch shows in 1.5x speed or 2x speed?

I usually do if I get really bored I watch it at 2x speed if it's like kdramas I definitely do watch them in 2x cause they are an hour long each and cdramas I do 3x cause of how many episodes they are. Usually, if the show is interesting, I watch it at normal speed.

@nammin if the shows boring, skip it instead

One of my two "big-screens" is a Samsung curved, an early model.
And while I hate it for being built b4 things like Atmos, HDR and some remux abilities, it has a "10-second skip" button which really gets you thru the slow spots.
Having that, I don't generally watch media in those higher speeds.

I skim some books nowadays or magazine articles, meaning if it gets into the weeds with one thing or another or say a boring scene description, I'll just skim the text until we get back to what I am interested in. So I might do the same with a TV show or movie, but more frequently I am eating and doing something on-line at the same time so unless it requires full focus (or say is subtitled), that's my go-to solution versus literally fast forwarding.
I mean, it's not like this is bad porn where you need to skip an awful scene or models you hate/don't find attractive!

Never, if I'm watching something I will watch it. If it gets too bad or boring I'll just stop watching.
Now for slow moments, sometimes those are necessary in shows and movies for setup, creating atmosphere, etc...

Watching youtube videos in 1.5x speed is pretty much my standard by now, but I dont think Id do it for a show. But I know what you mean with kdramas. Asian dramas in general have those production sensibilities which I just cant follow like drawn out internal monologues, over-showingcasing CGI, exchanging 2-3 synonymous lines for one thing when 1 line is clear.. things like that. A bummer really cause some series do have interesting concepts which I could watch under other circumstances

informational youtube videos, always 200% :).it's just quicker

I have, usually on youtube
I almost always skip around in the videos though.
