Whitmer kidnap plot leader Adam Fox spared life sentence, gets 16 years
-
More than two years after his arrest, Adam Fox was sentenced Tuesday to 16 years in prison for plotting the kidnap of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in what the government has described as one of the biggest domestic terrorism cases in recent American history.
The government had sought a life sentence for Fox, arguing he was part of a violent extremism movement that sought not only to kidnap the governor, but to spark a civil uprising.

@Drwas Fake news alert!
"Whitmer plot leader" was FBI agents such as Steven D'antuono, Richard Trask & others.
Likely acting to entrap, get headlines & create political narratives - pro-FBI, pro-Democrat or pro-lockdown, your guess.
At the moment, such articles are only permitted to say FBI agents were "investigating", BUT, at the various Whitmer trials, it came out that
- FBI assets were MANY or MOST of the Whitmer "plotters" (various numbers reported)
- FBI orchestrated, gave support, paid
- even more evidence of FBI's role that judges kept hidden
D'antuono went on to DC office where, in the name of "investigating", he likely led the FBI assets-provocateurs of so-called "January 6".
In both cases - and prob others - the "violent extremism movement" was/is U.S. FBI.
How many years did they get?
But it's coming...slowly like a glacier.

I'll give a shit when the "unindicted co-conspirators" are named, indicted, and prosecuted.
