Greetings to all, I am a new user, even if I have been an observer of the site for a long time. As my first post I want to propose a doubt that has haunted me for some time; I found that finding bisexual men is much cheaper than I expected, at least in my area (Milan, Italy); that the phenomenon is also made possible by the exasperation that many ladies foment in males? Mine is an ironic statement, but with a lot of sincerity ;D

Im having a bit of trouble understanding the point youre trying to make. What do you mean by cheaper? Are you talking about sex work? I am assuming something got lost in translation since youre from italy, meaning english might not be your first language

@Blorpy you're right, i also don't like the term "cheaper", it was a mistake in a translation system ... i meant i found out many men in my city have a bisexual orientation, many more than that I could think ... I absolutely did not want to refer to economic issues, such as "being cheap"

I don't think that men become bisexual due to women become aggressive and/or repulsive against men.

Bisexuality is an orientation, a person's ssexual identity. You either are or are not bisexual and this has nothing to do with external factors, such as women's attitude towards men.

The existence of many bi men in your city does not come as a surprise to me. In our days, people are more eager to explore their sexuality and be open to their feelings. Also many LGBTQ people prefer to live in big, more tolerant cities, rather than small conservative towns.

This is also the case for me (Athens, Greece). You will find more bi people in Athens than in small towns which are more homophobic and biphobic.

I grew up in Mysore in South India, a medium size fairly liberal city by Indian standards but still very conservative when it comes to sex, gender and sexuality. On the dating apps, it was rare for someone to identify as gay. There were a lot more bisexual guys than gay. Of course in Mysore it's basically impossible for an unmarried guy to have sex with a woman other than a prostitute.

However, statistically it is the other way around. In men (not in women), being truly bi is much rarer than being gay. 85% of gay men say they identified as bi when they were younger (that includes me even though I never wanted or tried to have sex with a woman). I read a study that on some dating app that accepts all genders and sexualities, men who identify as bi only ever made contact with other men.

I think this leads gay men to say that anyone who identifies as bi is lying or a half closeted gay. I don't agree. Bisexuality is real and people can identify as bi if they want to for whatever reason. I don't know why some gay people make it an issue.

@nikolaos84 you say well, but there is a folk song in the Venetian dialect that validates my theory ... it is entitled "Kankara", below the text ;D ... unfortunately I don't think you can fully appreciate the irony of this song, you need to know at least a little Italian to understand this Venetian song ... however you can try ;D

                KANKARA

"Te go comprà Un brilante da un milion

@Shami94 I agree with you, bisexuality is real, I have had relationships with both men and women .. and currently I am in a relationship only with a woman 😄
