would it be "duplicate posting" if i break down a torrent?
-
hi, so i recently put a torrent up, and got comments thats it was too big. would it be a duplicate if i make like minipacks with the content in the big torrent?

Might want to write the helpdesk to be sure, but I believe that, if you use some logical blocking and each "collection" stands on its own, you should be good - ESPECIALLY if you put a link in the description that people can find it all in one place at the original torrent location (and keep seeding both sets!)
So, for example: you posed a 4TB site rip of Sweet & Raw (used as an example because they don't exist an longer)...
Most people do not have 4TB to spare, but if you broke it down into individual years (2008-2015 in this case - 8 separate torrents), I think that'd "pass muster"

I agree with bi4smooth above me, it would really depend. You should check to make sure if you do end up splitting the larger torrent, the smaller pieces don't already exist.
I would recommend grouping them with a theme/ with a certain performer so that it could "be a collection". I have personally seen people break up a collection with "StudioX 01 of 10" which is a grey area so I'd prefer you stick to a more defined collection

@dandylion say that if i broke it down "him sucking a dildo" "his birthday stream" etc? like the theme stuff but also link the main torrent if they want the whole thing ?

I would recommend linking to the original torrent no matter how you make your smaller torrents, for the reason you mentioned.
As mentioned, you can do it by date/year, situation (solo, dildo, etc) or some other type of theme.
