        People have forgotten that a couple of months ago, Biden said that he only wants Americans to eat ONE hamburger per MONTH (or 1/4 of beef). Yeah.. right. We will all be eating bowls of rice and sprouts like in Asia. Or.. beans and seeds like in India.

          @raphjd <This is not a political comment.>
          This has to be one of the funniest headlines in years: We have both "Joe Biden giving Boris Johnson a hand with his sausage," and the same fellow "beating off the EU."

          This rivals my favourite from some years back--and article about how one could pickle gherkins and cucumbers at home. The title of the article? "You can put pickles up yourself."

            The Metro is a newer UK outlet. They started in the last 20 years.

            They are the center-left of UK politics.

              The Metro is a newer UK outlet.

              I can only imagine sequels to this article, headlined as "Boris Johnson expresses his pleasure that he and Joe Biden came together, saying 'both of us are relieved'" and "Baltic citizens look forward to arrival of EU seamen."

              Perhaps the editors were aware to the double-entendre of the original headline--if so, kudos to them for being clever. Often, though, it seems that headlines are inadvertently clumsy. A quick web search on "humourous headlines" reveals a treasure trove of items, such as:

              • Man accused of killing lawyer receives a new attorney
              • Population to double by 2040; babies to blame
              • Students cook and serve grandparents
              • Attorney accidentally sues himself
                and
              • Cop makes arrest in bathroom after smelling crack
