Who was the first to know about your sexuality?

Coming out is a very difficult choice so I'd want to know, who was the first to know about your sexuality (excluding your partner).
Sincere answers, please ::) -

No one..there is no rule that you should really come out as gay out and out

I agree with you assuming that the reason you may choose not to come out is purely & truly because you could care less if people knew.
That aside, I think the first person to know was a girl-friend I had in middle school, 6th grade I think.

My (straight) female friend was the first to know, back in 8th grade. Though, I told her that I was bisexual because I was in denial. 'Told her that it was a 60% to 40% ratio (boys to girls) and then I eventually came out to her and a few other female friends as gay.

My female friends here as well

I was basically forced to come out to my mom because I needed her to take me to my HIV appts… It was really rough , then she made me tell my dad - but they eventually just accepted me for who i am

A female friend. At first I told her as a joke to see her reaction. But found out she is cool. she rather enjoyed listening to my gay life when I came out to her. ;D ;D

First I started opening a anonymous account on Twitter. There I made a lots of friends who understood me. I'm from a little town in Andalusia (Spain) so the option of comming out so young was out of question. In the university I also made friends who know I'm gay, people on university are more open-minded (still there was some assholes, but only a few). The only person I have came out is my best friend (and after a few weeks he came out on me telling me he was bi LOL).

The first time I said it to someone (besides myself) was to a female coworker with whom I've had sex a few times. We were getting closer and when things started to get into romance I felt like I should just tell her that I'm more interested in man than in woman. I was very afraid of her reaction but I had nobody else with intimacy enough to tell this. She took it kinda of well, was supportive and didn't tell anyone about it (that I know of), but we got distant and I could see a bit of dissapointment in her. Life moved on anyway and I felt relieved to have told it to someone.

Well first my parents , family, then later friends .

a classmate I was in love with

it depends on the person. if the person really feels he had to tell someone to relieve something then go for it
