The mayor of London, England - Sadiq Khan - is always on the wrong side of everything, and hates Trump.

      Take a look at this…

As the mayor of London, he does have quite a bit of power.

A lot of the crap he says has no bearing on the UK.    He mostly spouts his leftist bullshit.

A mayor has no power outside of the city he is mayor of.  London has been going down the tubes for decades.
… and by tubes, I don't mean the subway.. I mean the shitter.

Most of the UK doesn't have mayors.  In fact, excluding London, mayors are something that came in in the last 10 years.

Most "mayors" in the UK are little more than Walmart greeters with drag queen necklaces, silly hats, and a silly cloak.  In Scotland, we have Provosts.  They have no power.  The power is with the Chairperson of the council.

I like him, he seems more sensible than other UK politicians, except maybe Blair. I miss Blair…

They don't call it the "Labour" party for nothing.  The Labour party would have the entire population working like slaves to the government.. like Communism.

Doesn't this look like Tony Blair?    https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=warwick+davis&FORM=IARRTH&ufn=warwick+davis&stid=59660d8f-5a58-4cb2-6c7d-d07b9ed4d3c9&cbn=EntityAnswer&cbi=0&FORM=IARRTH

Theresa May & Sadiq Khan not Elizabeth and Saddam.

The simple answer is two different offices, two different political parties. Theresa May is a Conservative, she is the head of her political party and the current Prime Minister. To get this role she had to be voted in by her party as the head of the party and she also had to be voted in by the members of her constituency. (Loose rule on that one but I don't want to over complicate it.) She is still a member of Parliment and still votes on UK Laws.

Sadiq Khan is the Mayor of London, he is elected but by the people of London and is a member of the labour party. He does not vote on UK policy, where as Theresa's role focuses on UK wide. Sadiq's job is concentrating on the city of london. He is head of the local authority that runs the city. The local authority are the people who do things like grant licenses, empty peoples bins, maintain roads, parks etc.

She has no option but to tolerate him, policy on emptying bins or roads is not something shes really going to deal with. The post of Mayor in any town or city is a figure head, thats it. The real power is with the councilors who vote on the local issues. Still as mayor he is very influential and uses that influence to try and better the city and sometimes the uk.

The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you’re hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward

I must have been thinking of the Queen when I accidentally said "Elizabeth".   The "Saddam Khan" jab was intentional.

so far i prefer left wingers than right wingers
and atheists rather than religious people

being gay and on the rightwinger/religious side is like shooting yourself in the foot…

so far i think brexit was a bad thing for uk, but it can be a good thing for europe... uk always wanted to have a better deal compared to the rest of the eu countries, also it acted more in the interest of u.s.a. than the interest of eu

i disliked politicians of uk going into war... a war that maybe gave benefit to u.s.a. but in the end gave only trouble to eu with waves of immigrants...

i was surprised some rightwingers uk politicians used the gay rights to their advantage... so they stole a perk from the left side and used it to score a win... in the end i do not complain, even if i do not benefit from it since i do not live in uk

the fact the mayor of uk is religious is a thing i do not like, for me christian , muslim is the same... all wrong... but still he behaves better than the gop, trump, repubblicans... so it is fine for me...

in the end it was very stupid for the rightwingers of uk to make a brexit vote... when right wingers play with extremists right wingers the country suffers.

in the end i do not know how it will go, still i am just a spectator anyway.

                                  Nope.

In Queens English, it's spelled LABOUR.  Just like colour, neighbour, armour, etc, etc, etc.

American English doesn't use the U in the spelling.

Mr POLICE, i was complimenting a forum poster for his ability to think outside the figurative low dimensional box. i did not call someone a mouron, which Frederick did indeed do.

I assume you will let Fredericks insult go? Because honestly, being called one dimensional is obviously worse than using basic derogatory terms? (im being sarcastic)
