Why won’t Donald Trump rush to tweet criticism of attacks against Muslims?

Donald Trump tweeted about the terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015 about 3½ hours after they occurred. The following month, he tweeted about the mass shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., 90 minutes after the violence began. It took fewer than 12 hours from the time an EgyptAir flight went missing in May 2016 for Trump to speculate publicly that the attack was terror-related. More than a year later, it’s still not clear what happened to the plane.

When terrorists drove a van into a crowd on London Bridge earlier this month, Trump tweeted about the need to be “smart, vigilant and tough” even before authorities identified terror as the motive behind the attack.

Btw, those people downvoting are essentially saying it is acceptable to attack Muslims and not have the President respond in a timely manner to such acts.

A deafening silence from the usual big mouths on this board as well.  Also, the imam stepped in to promote peace and prevented the crowd from tearing the man apart.

The President went to the middle east and he never once mentioned Islamic terrorists.  It's very sad.  He is a big man on his Twitter account but then acts like a total pussy in person.  He is unfit to be President.  I wouldn't want him running a Burger King.

In the TV show "Kung Fu", Master Po once said to young Caine "Do you hear the grasshopper at your feet?"  and Caine replies "no, old man, how may I hear these things also?"  And the wise old man says "Confucius say: to hear, one only need to get shit out of ears!"

OK, aadam101 was wrong.  But you have a short memory.  The OP was right.  Trump still hasn't tweeted about this anti-muslim attack.  He is too obsessed with his personal feud with the London Mayor.

Confucius say beware of man shoving shit in your ears…  That response makes about as much sense as yours.

You are a typical bike lock liberal, with your blatant hypocrisy.

You spam the fuck out of the down vote button against your enemies no matter what they say.  You don't care what is said, you look for the name of the poster.

I never knew that disagreeing with a poster implied that you would want to hit them with a bike lock ???

And I know why you and Frederick have yet to respond to the initial post. Both of you have no problem with Muslims being attacked by bigoted/hateful people because you think they're all terrorists. And you probably support actions by racist white supremacist stabbers, such as this:

Well, the boot could be on the other foot. Whenever the religion of pieces attacks the west or western targets, we are told 'not all Muslims'. I think on the whole westerners have shown remarkable restraint in not resorting to mob violence or tit for tat attacks. Is this the typical tu quoque argument, in that we find some outrage performed by non-muslims to justify islamic terrorism? There is no doubt that Islam exhibits cult like characteristics, and this is not just in regard to those commonly considered extremist.

But attacks on unarmed civilians are certainly deplorable. Whatever problems I may have with islamic ideology, I certainly condemn indiscriminate attacks on ordinary Muslims. I don't hate Muslims as individuals, nor do I hate the religion as such. I do have definite problems with fundamental aspects of the faith, and these extend beyond what is generally labelled 'extremist', and I feel that I do so totally justifiably.

I have no responsibility to defend Trump in any way shape or form and I disavow such.

Bike lock liberals claim muslim terrorists have nothing to do with islam.  It's the same when liberals do bad.  They aren't part of the group, they are individuals.

If a conservative does something wrong, it's all conservatives.

BTW, try reading the quran before claiming it's the religion of peace.

BTW, I don't claim that Islam is a religion of peace. Actually that is a fundamental misunderstanding. I believe it means more correctly, 'submission'. Rather, Islam is (and always has been) a religion of 'pacification', that is, you can be treated 'peacefully' once you submit (become a Muslim) and become an adherent of Islam (submission). Or accept dhimmi status (only open to 'peoples of the book', and never gays)

I mean, 'religion of peace' is a fundamental misunderstanding of the Arabic word, 'Islam'.

Why should Trump respond?  It didn't even happen in the U.S.  I mean, did Obama respond when North Korea kidnapped an American college student?  Apparently not, since he's dead I guess.

For ages I have asked liberals to condemn the violence and it took ages but finally 6 or so stepped forward to condemn it.    You weren't one of them.  Not surprisingly, the liberals who condemned the violence got as many down votes as conservatives do.    I'm betting it was you, DrWas, wafflez and a couple others.

In 23 days, peaceful, loving muslims have killed 1,246 people in "peace attacks".  And we now have another, thankfully thwarted, "peace attack" in Brussels.

Was it you or your fellow bike lock liberal DrWas who said you don't have to condemn violence because you aren't the President?

The fact that you search out posts by your enemies to down vote them, no matter what they say, shows the mentality you have.    At least RoyalCrown89  has the decency to actually read the posts and vote on them based on what is posted.

None of us here are the President. And while he does not need to comment on every event in the world, he has been quick to condemn attacks that are perpetrated by radical islamists, usually within hours of the events, even before they are linked to terrorism.  He takes the occasion to justify his travel ban.  He seems uninterested in any events that don't support his agenda and overall world-view.
That was the point of the OP, and no ad hominem attacks can change the underlying facts.
