Let's forget that the ad has Kendall Jenner (wish that whole lot would go away).

SJWs, especially BLM, lost their shit because they claim that the new Pepsi ad is too police friendly.

      SJWs win.

Pepsi pulls the ad and apologizes to BLM.

Fucking hell, humanity deserves to be wiped out.

BTW, I'm surprised feminists aren't claiming they are the ones who actually won since feminism cures all ills.

What are you, ten years old? Wow, how terrible, a stupid ad got pulled because it implied Pepsi could fix the long-standing racial disparities that remain in America. A gay man babbling about SJWs is just the saddest thing I've ever seen – many of us are only alive today because WE ARE SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS, and when discrimination and the AIDS epidemic hit back, we didn't sit around pissing our pants and whining about 'cucks', we fought back.

noone has actually complained that " new Pepsi ad is too police friendly" - they complained of the context of the ad - the trivialisation of a big issue

There are things that can be joked/ parodied/ made commercials about

I don't think protesting about black lives is one of those things.

Actually the Pepsi ad invited so much derision and mockery from all sides- not just from the Liberals- and it centers on just how bad of an ad it is. It's unbelievable in fact that during the whole process from conception to execution, not one member of the creative team stopped for a moment and asked- is this really a good idea?

In fact, there's a really entertaining and insightful list of questions that came out regarding the ad worth reading:
                    http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2017/04/05/_30_questions_for_pepsi_s_protest_inspired_commercial_starring_kendall_jenner.html

The core problem is that the ad pushes the absolutely ludicrous idea that Pepsi is the solution to all the conflicts and protests that are currently happening out there. It's manipulative in an obvious, hammer-to-the face way- with no subtlety whatsoever. Just a perfect example of very bad advertising.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short.
But shout it at them in German, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

                      SJW=Social Justice Warrior
                      BLM=Black Lives Matter

If that ad was realistic, the cop would think that can was a hand grenade, and blow her head off.
BLM is self-defeating, because by defining themselves by race, they are profiling and stereotyping themselves - which is contrary to their goals.  So is the phrase "Black is Beautiful".  They are the equivalent as saying "White Power"  "White Supremacy"  "White is Right",  etc.  White people can't say anything without being called out on being racist… yet black people get a free pass and can say anything they like.

Imagine if Trump ever said anything like this....  ! No longer available

By the way, the Kardashians are now going to have an ANIMATED cartoon show!  EEEK!

This is almost breathtakingly stupid, because African-Americans were forcibly and brutally defined by others for their race, under the law, starting in the 17th and 18th centuries, with the invention of this country's racism, for the express purpose of instituting slavery. They're still defined by many others this way, which is a big problem when those others are armed police (of whatever color).

It's a commercial. It's not manipulative. Have people become so stupid they cannot separate reality from fiction?

It's a big problem when those 'others' are white liberals, who keep telling black people not to better themselves but instead stay in poverty and blame the white man.

Most people killed by police are white or Hispanic. American officers are not adequately trained and use excessive force because they are incompetent, but if we acknowledge this fact, BLM won't be able to claim racism (and we all know they need to prey on something in order to survive). There are racism instances within the police force, but these are not the norm.

If the US cops are super racist, why don't they abandon the inner-cities? Black deaths would skyrocket and cops wouldn't risk their lives and careers with accusations of racism.

Soda is just flavored carbonated sugar water, so they need to pretend it is something more significant in ads. It brings people together, it defines a generation, it makes people happy, etc.

You are actually a white gay man who thinks there is a "victim culture", as if discrimination is completely imaginary.

                                  Amazing.
                                  Absolutely frickn' amazing.

Who said I am white? 😉

Never had a problem with the police force either.

Btw, victim culture is not acknowledging there is racism, but believing people in today's America are poor (or are being killed by the police) solely because of their skin colour, when the statistics don't back up that claim.

You should get on your knees and THANK those SJWs who are the reason you are not in prison, or a mental hospital, for being an unrepentant Sodomite.

The civil rights movement of past decades made sense. There were discrepancies in the way legislation treated us, but that's not the case anymore.

Today's SJWs are creating faux social justice wars in order to fuel their altruistic personalities.

It's a commercial. It's not manipulative. Have people become so stupid they cannot separate reality from fiction?

Hate to break it to you but the core purpose of any TV commercial is to manipulate.. to love.. to hate.. to make you feel inadequate.. to make you feel shocked.. to make you feel you are behind as the world moves forward.. whatever it may be but its' main purpose is to manipulate.. that is marketing 101

"the best mothers use this brand of butter.. are you one of the best?" that kind of manipulation is rampant

You know why so many eat bacon for breakfast? A company that sold it was noticing low sales -  one day in the 1920s - They went to an ad agency & that ad agency got a Dr on their payroll to sign off that a heavy/big breakfast was good for you.. it started a campaign that was in all papers etc  heavily featuring bacon, of course! Rest is history - then in later years, again, it was reinforced..
