Happened a few times, saw someone in my tutorial class from university on Gaydar, luckily we have finished that unit at the time, otherwise it'd be awkward; another time I saw on Grindr the son of someone I know through work. Then I had it happening to me also, this guy working at our client's office messaged me on Grindr, which made me freak out a bit lol

I used to work with a guy who had grindr on his phone.. he came up running up to me one day.. "oh my god oh my god.. That huge sexy guy fixing the lights, have you seen him?" I was like "definitely he is hot!!!" - he then showed me his phone.. the guy was on grindr with a hot topless pic.. we were laughing our heads off

Where I live apps like Grindr, Scruff, Adam4Adam, and who knows what all else are so ubiquitous that it would be odd to not run into people you know occasionally.  What I still find odd though is when I find a video that includes a performer I know in my day-to-day life in entirely non-sexual ways.  Regardless of how hot the action is, or what I think of their physical appearance, knowing someone personally makes it hard to really engage with their performance persona.  Bits of the guy's actual personality keep creeping in.

This was so common for me when I still used Grindr and Jack'd. At some point, I knew several people who happened to be on either one or both of those dating apps. I was curious about the possibility of finding certain guys around my school and then I started to greet them. Unsurprisingly, they ignored me, even though most of them were actually online at that time. One of those guys was someone with a username Hero. Too bad, he seemed to be a nice guy. After seeing a clearer photo of myself, which he and they requested (guess they didn't believe me even if I had used a close up picture of myself as profile picture), they proceeded to ignore me, as I said. I took it I wasn't their type, even though I explicitly said I was looking for some friends to chat and hangout with, not sex. Does everyone who uses these dating apps expect hook up sessions upon finding the ones they like? Literally taken as Dating app, even when they could be used similarly as line, facebook or something else, eh?

A few days later, while I was still work on my final week as an intern in a Media company, my boss told me and my intern there would be another intern who'd be joining us. And once he showed up from 2nd floor… well, well, well, what a surprise. That Hero guy showed up. I almost couldn't hide my smile, and upon being introduced to me and the other interns, it was pretty clear that he also recognized me, since his smile seemed a little bit cracked when he noticed me. And his name is indeed Hero. I checked his Grindr profile in secret to confirm it was him and it was really him, judging by the distance shown in his profile. The world is pretty small, eh?

So I spent the last few days on my internship period teasing him lightly. It's funny how he couldn't afford to have eye contact with me, while his position, and the boss himself, explained that he required to work closely with me, so I had to teach him what I knew. Once in a while, I popped up on his chat room, and he did answer, sometimes, albeit cynically. For some reason, I really enjoyed that. ;D

On a more evil side... I could actually ruin his reputation if I wanted to...

My elementary school PE teacher. I saw him on Tinder, and obviously, he had 'men' in his gender preferences. I just jeered him a bit, never really thought that he was gay, but it was all cool.
PS. I just have to share, :P. I saw an ex-classmate once, he was in a political campaign ad, frolicking in the rice fields (or just a meadow, I can't really remember, I was 4-6 at the time). That's it.

I did a few times on hornet. Which were awful since most of those gay people were unattractive. I though sometime that all real gays who don't use fake pic are unattractive too

Yes. I seen guys from many gay for pay sites. I think it's the fact I live in LA though lol.

I never go up and talk to them, because I'm usually in shock because it's a guy on a porn site on the internet.

I remember I was at an amusement park one time and I saw a guy on theguysite that used to be on the site, but not anymore. He was with his wife and kids.

I have 'found' once from a straight guy I follow on Tumblr and Facebook. He's a game developer and someday, out of the blue, he decided to post a naked pic of himself on his Tumblr blog. He deleted shortly afterwards. But I saved it =B

when you send out nudes, you don't know where they might end up. i've started sending less and less out, now that i've found myself on tumblr twice. it's a strange feeling of embarrassment, unwelcome flattery and arousal – seeing your nude among other guys'
