How long will Trump be president? I seriously think he will become dictator and will find a way to get a third term. 😞

Until November 3, 2020, unless he has a stroke or something.

Barring death via natural or other means, I don't see him lasting beyond one term. I say that as I don't see the rest of the morons in power kicking him out of power, unless he crosses a line that would force them out of office when they're up for election as a large group rather then as a few individuals. Of course the fact that the good old days of MAD are back once more and the news is ignoring it doesn't help either.

I'm an outsider, so I really shouldn't say much.

But from what I've seen so far, his people (the Republicans) are doing everything they can to prolong his reign. That FBI director for example, deliberately refuses to investigate his links to Russians. Eventhough the proof can be considered solid. He manages to get away from all those sexual violation cases, so the law is in his favor. He is also backed with some corrupt media that will do everything to avoid bad press to him. It's these kind of unprecedented support that's worrisome. That means, there's a high chance that he might overstay his welcome, much longer than it naturally should've been.

Many are predicting that he won't last more than just one term, but that's a little bit hopeful. He actually lost in the Public/Popular vote, but gained his trophy through the Electoral College. That's saying much. Unless some brave men pulls of a coup and oust him, I just don't see stepping down earlier than he should.

It does not work that way here in the United States.  Our Presidents are elected and may only serve two terms only.

The Bushes, Kennedys, Clintons and Obamas would love to be able to have more than two terms and create political dynasties within the Presidency but thankfully that's not going to happen.

He will be impeached and removed from office.
The man lie's so much that he can't keep the lie's straight.

Now if he is found to have colluded with the Russians during the election? Prison will be his most likely state house for a few years.

The republicans will try everything they can to keep him safe, but only to a point where it may cost them their own election. Then they will turn on him in mass.

I'm sure he has already committed several impeachable offenses.  That doesn't necessarily anything will be done about it.

I used to think this but then I realize it wasn't going to happen. It won't happen even if they catch him on video being handed a briefcase of money personally handed to him by Vladimir Putin. His supporters will just keep chanting "Trump", while their civil rights get trampled on and corporations rob them blind.

I have a feeling (more like hope) he is not gonna get reelected.

He is just the worst, really… and four years of his bs is going to do enough damage to humanity to last for a life time.

i have no idea how easy or difficult it is, to begin an impeachment process.

when that so called president and that party continues, it is possible, trump survives his full term.

depending on how he does in his last year, with creating jobs artificially -even heavily subsidied with raising debts considerably, he might get his hands on a second term.

But lets watch, what happens at midterm…......

I'm going to be blunt, if the Republicans don't get off the whole ACA repeal thing and just fix the problems with the ACA, no amount of job creation is going to fix the political suicide the party committed. The Republicans do not have another plan that works. Period. The ACA is extremely similar to a plan created by a Republican, Mitt Romney. The ACA is a relatively conservative health care plan compared to what other countries do. If the Republicans could gain an ounce of situational awareness and realize what they need to do here, that would be great. The reality is, because they attached Obama's name to it, it sounds bad, if you take Obama's name off it, then think about it, it's really not bad. The alternative plans are all much worse, or sound wonderful, but don't actually work.

I have absolutely no idea why they think this is some critical issue that needs to be "fixed."

If things keep going the way they are, we'll certainly get to enjoy his leadership for two terms.

The Democratic party is in such disarray they've got no one on the national scene that can challenge Trump in 2020. Bernie and Biden will both be 78 years old in 2020 and even the left is done with Hillary after her campaign last year. Who does that leave? Warren? Schumer? Ellison??

Maybe they'll have someone to challenge Pence in 2024.

That's very true.  You have democrats who are actually moderate conservatives supporting the silly nutty antifas protesters who actually are not that liberal or progressive, or for free speech at all.  ::)

He will be done as soon as the Republicans get their puppet to sign off on all the bills they haven't been able to get through in the last 8 years.  Once the mid-terms obliterate the Republican party they will have no use for him and the impeachment proceedings can begin.

well, it might surprise you to hear that, but the republican party might survive midterm, simply because there are not alternative candidates to vote for in some districts. if a republican has no opponent in the race in his town, no wonder they keep that seat.

even today, americans are not well informed which candidate is running, and is do not know how to setup a 3rd party candidate. and too few are giving a f**k.
