Without real father = forever and ever you will choose only "dads"?
-
I always liked mature men, and chose them. I started analyze this and came to conclusion, that I don't like younger or my age, only mature. I think it's because that I grown up without father, and always try to find ideal "dad" for me.
So my question: Is it ordinary thing or people who grown up with normal/good fathers, sometimes, also choose only mature men?

I'm not sure. I grew up with my father but was not particularly close to him. I was attracted to older men from the moment I hit puberty. Rather than fantasize about the hot female teacher like my friends, I was going home and jerking off while thinking about my 50-year old history teacher. I developed a fetish for suits very early on (like 12-ish). Loved jerking to senators and congressmen while watching CSPAN. I think I am more attracted to the look than the psychological concept. I've always felt like a bit of an old soul myself.

I grow up with my father and somehow close to him but still I love mature men.. Now i can apply your scenario on my situation like i like mature men because of my father because i believe that mature guys are more caring..

I wasn't close to my dad but I was attracted to the look of men with beard. Probably relating subconsciously with a bearded, idealized looking Jesus being a figure of safety and comfort.
-
The beard attraction came later for me. Strangely, it does not work with all men. I had a long-term friend who grew a beard and I asked him to shave it off. He had an excellent bushy mustache, which I preferred much more.

well i think there might be a connection but it is not mandatory if you did not have a real father to like mature men.

Yeah, it's a huge connection in my case, I have a buddy which also about my age. He is straight and knows that I'm gay, he is always acting verbal and physical, more older then he is, especially when he knew that i grown up without a father. Our conversations always like a Pink Fairy with Brutal Rock, he is kind of on homophobia side, but first of all look at my human personality not orientation. So yeah, I like my conversations with him. I think mostly, cause of his daddy-acting role.

Io credo che tutto dipenda da chi ti ha fatto conoscere il sesso gay..se è stato un maturo ti piacerà sempre lui e poco i giovani o viceversa

It's fun, but your theory, is kind of right, too. Moment when I understand that I like man body, when I was 12 years old, I saw the statue of Herakles Farnese. He looks like a muscle mature daddy in it. After that, most of my fantasies were only about this kind of man or older and bigger.

I don't really think there is a universal correlation between lacking father figures and preferring mature men. Maybe it's true for you specifically, but I don't suspect that it's true for all or most guys into older men. At least not from my perspective. I don't personally have a "daddy" fetish/preference, despite never having much of a relationship with my own father.
That's not to say I cannot or do not appreciate more mature men, but they aren't a major preference for me. When it comes to relationships, I prefer guys who are as close as possible to my own age. I'm not sure why, but being with someone more than a couple of years older or younger than I am feels weird.
-
It depends.
If you try hard enough to look after yourself and make a man of yourself, you would be able to take care of others and be a father figure yourself. -
Hmm, not necessarily. I grew up without a father and yeah I may have some daddy issues and I like older guys like 40-50 too if they're built enough to fit my type, but I had a lot of guys my age. Never younger though, always 1, 2 or more years older cause I was mentally mature enough. But the reason why I stopped going after guys like this is because I didn't feel them mature enough, a lot of guys were too spoiled or too twink-ish or just too childish. I kind of grown an idea that I need a man, not a boy. Still, I dated 36 y.o guy (13y diference) and I still love him, but I treated him more like a buddy, not like 'dad'. So my answer to the topic would be no.

that's actually quite the opposite. Gays have very very often a strong mother and an absent father and so they identify to the strong sex hence are looking for men later. So the gayer you are the more you like older men. when you'r bi you "usually" like younger . ( dont take what I just said a 100% sure rule, it's just general stuff).

Funny thing, it works very well in my case)) Of course I understand that's not 100%, but clearly works))
