Showing seeding torrents

First off, not sure where I should be posting this (sorry if this is the wrong place) but after searching for over an hour and getting more lost every minute this seems to be the only way I can seem to post anything so here goes.
I was wondering if it would be difficult for the board to keep an up to date amount of seeding amounts for torrents being uploaded. Not sure how it works now but am confused when I go to check my uploaded torrents and see 0.00MB uploaded after I have been seeding for days at a time :th: (maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot?) but I try to keep seeding until I have reached at least 3 times the amount downloaded and am finding this as confusing as hell. In spit of that I would also like to say that you have the best torrent site on the web…. THANKS!!! :thankyou:

Your upload amount won't increase if no one is downloading the torrents you are seeding. However, you will get bonus points (.5 point for every hour you seed at least 1 torrent), and bonus points can be exchanged for upload credit (click on the "bonus" link in the upper right of your screen to see how much).
I glanced at your profile, and you're already a member in good standing with a ratio of over 1. Just keep seeding your favorite torrents and eventually someone will download some, and you'll get bonus points, as well.

You can't see that on site. There is only a grand total. You can see that per torrentin your torrent client.
What you see on site is a session based instant picture from the tracker. Once an event interrupts the session (like stop the torrent, pause it over 30 minutes, stop the client, stop the computer, interruption of internet connection over 30 minutes, tracker restart, etc…) these UL/DL are reset to zero.
Each time the tracker gets an update from the client (announce), the upload and download since the previous is added to the grand total and the current running session statistics.
Keeping per torrent will increase the database accesses a lot and there were already optimisations required to keep it responsive.

Thank you very much for your explanation, it makes things much easier for me to understand and your explanation clears up all the questions I had on this issue. Again thanks for taking the time to explain as well as how quickly you answered my question. just one more reason to say this is the bestt torrent site on the web. Keep up the great work… but of course I know you will! :thankyou:
