Do you let your political views affect your sex life or your porn folder?
-
would you not have sex with a person whom you find attractive but belongs to a race / nation / culture you disapprove of due to political views or stereotype or any other reason?

When I read the tittle of this topic I thought it was about people with different political views, for example, I am democrat and the other dude is republican, so we won't have sex because of that. But then I opened it and it's not exactly about that. What you are really asking is if I woundn't have sex with sbd because of 1-race; 2-nationality; 3-culture. I'm sory, but that has nothing to do with political views. It has to do with bigotry and bigotry only.

I usually "dont tell dont ask" about politics coz otherwise you might miss a good f*** for that reason.
I even have friends who are my political enemies , and we know that, we just don't talk about it. you know taboo subject.
Now when it comes to have a real BF(someone you live with) that's more difficult.. I mean when I was 18 I wouldn't care much , but now I just can't have a BF that is against my political views.About nation , culture blabla.. well being white I can tell you having sex with a black guy as a bottom.. that's nice ;D

Um … that's not politics, my friend. That's basically bigotry, racism, and prejudice. I don't think "political" is the most accurate word to use if you're limiting it to those three words. Politics is about ... well, policy. Government policy. It's about tax codes, civil rights, legal systems, government programs, foreign policy, etc.
"Not approving" of a person's race is bigotry. Making a decision about them because of what country they were born in is a different kind of bigotry, but bigotry all the same. Now, not agreeing with a person's thoughts and ideas about the world and how it should work? THAT is what politics is.
You might have a few politicians who run on racist platforms, but even they have the good sense to cloak their racism behind 'reasons' that can be boiled down to governmental policies.
Do I not watch porn because I don't "approve" of the RACE of the performers? No! What a question!

:blind: My political views never interfere with my porn or my sex life. I simply don't discuss my political views with someone I'm just gonna watch fuck on screen or with the guy I'm currently in bed with.

The only times that I'm into politics is when I vote on National and Local elections, other than that, I'm very much apolitical, and when I have a raging hard on, what do I care if the person I'm going to shag has a different political views

I don't find Asians, South Asians, blacks, hispanics, Arabs, North Africans, etc. to be sexually attractive on a personal level, meaning there is no conflict over political views or stereotypes.
For some in the West this might go against PC dogma and other hysterical notions of 'equality', but I don't really consider it an issue. Otherwise I would be dating women to conform to the established societal notions of propriety.
And my personal preference isn't unique either. Many Asians prefer only Asians, many South Asians only prefer South Asians, many Blacks only prefer Blacks, many North Africans only prefer North Africans, etc.
Only in the West you're supposed to find everyone sexually attractive. Well guess what, the real world doesn't work that way.

I knew before I even clicked on the post button that someone would try to read that meaning into my comments, to the point that I was typing up an in-advance clarification to stop it from happening … but deleted it because my post was already so long. Bleh.
Of course it's okay to have sexual preferences, but the original poster's question has nothing to do with that. It's a given if he wants to jerk off to it in porn, or finds a person attractive enough that the question of dating even comes up, that it has nothing to do with what makes his dick get hard.
Specifically, he was asking if your "disapproval" (a much more judgemental word) of someone's race, ethnicity, or even country of birth was a reason to reconsider. He went so far as to say it was about politics, which seems a strange word to use if it's about simple sexual preference.

If there is a person who I am attracted to but am not supposed to find attractive because of a generalized stereotype of their race, nation, or culture, I simply go with my unrealistic Western perceptions and judge that person as an individual. I gauge whether whatever prior perceptions or "misconceptions" I may have had actually truly apply to that person in real life, and how much of it is social conditioning. I also explore the reasons why I feel attraction to that person, and how it's different from and/or similar to my attractions to people of other races, nations, or cultures.
If there is a person who I am attracted to whom I then discover also has radically opposing political or ideological views that represent a closed-minded little world that he has zero intention of leaving behind, then I cease to be attracted to them altogether.
Do I let these unrealistic views affect my equally unrealistic Western porn folder in such a manner that I avoid racist/bigoted porn stars? YES. ABSOLUTELY.

I personally would never be able to have sex with someone that I knew was a Trump supporter, or someone with anti-gay views. I have often seen guys cruising the park in vehicles with bumper stickers supporting anti-gay politicians, and that immediately disqualifies them in my eyes. It's not judgmental, it just makes them immediately unattractive.

since Jarec wentworth was found to be a black mailer I think he either dumb or not a very nice person.
He always seem tainted by ths legal red tape when he in a scene in my mind. ANYBODY else feel like that? -
Political or whatever differences you stated between me and my sex partner won't affect our sex life. As long as he is gay and loyal, differences in opinion won't matter.
However, it does affect my porn preference. Not the race, the nationality or anything. But, I am avoiding big porn companies who are shoving gay for pay to my face like CF, SC and BSB. But I do like amateur straight videos who are still g4p but are not really shoving their being straight on us, like Gemini Men, Club Amateur USA, The Great Canadian Male and the likes. But what turns me on the most involving G4P performers are the BDSM type, where the straight guys are getting dominated, like breederfuckers, Dominated Men, Dream Boy Bondage and the likes.

So many people still posting in this thread are responding as if the OP was actually talking about "politics," but he wasn't. He may have used that word, but when he elaborated on what he actually meant when he invoked said word … it's clear he's actually talking about bigotry.
This isn't simply not being turned on by someone because they're not your "type." He's already turned on, he wants to jack off, or he finds someone attractive and he feels the desire to date that person -- yet, he can't get over "country of birth." Everything else matches, but he finds out that they were ultimately born in X country or Y country, and boom -- that's the complicating factor.
... sorry, that's not politics. Talking about presidential candidates and their supporters isn't what he meant.

simply, yes

Well, I tend to keep it human, as far as race is concerned. As tempting as omox is, Ferengi dental work is just a little too scary for me.
But then, I thought Saddam Hussein was hot.
