Are you attracted to transgender people?

About a year I decided to stop using the term "gay" to identify myself since I don't really like labels. Now, whenever someone asks me, I will just answer "queer", it's a much more fluid word. One of the main reasons I don't identify with the more strict "gay" label is because I feel sexual attraction towards FTM transgender people. Not only I could totally date and/or have sex with someone who has fully transitioned, but I really like the idea of being with someone who identifies as male, has started hormone therapy and undergone chest surgery but hasn't undergone genital surgery yet. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I'm attracted towards people who identify as men and look like men, except for the fact that they have a vagina. Someone told to me that I should basically start calling myself bisexual because of this, but I think that this would not feel right since I'm not attracted to cisgender women (apart from making out with friends, I never really fancied girls in a sexual way). At the same I feel really uncomfortable with the idea of having sex with a transexual woman (MTF) who haven't undergone genital surgery.
(DISCLAIMER: I have absolutely no problem with individuals of any gender/sexuality, I could absolutely be friends with anyone. This whole thing has to do with my personal preferences in terms of sexual attraction ONLY!!!)
Basically I think my situation is basically that I'm attracted to anyone who has the body physique/characteristics of a male and identifies as a male, with the genital part being less important.
Does anyone else have the same thing or maybe the opposite? I would love to talk about it!

In fact, the reason why I think this is a queer/peculiar thing is that most guy who identify as gay are disgusted by vaginas but have absolutely no problem with other aspects of the female physique (for example boobs). For me it's basically the opposite, I would totally stick my prick in a vagina but I crave the beard, the flat chest, the body hair and the deep voice.

Have you thought about using the word Androphile? As in: Someone who is attracted to masculinity. I think "Queer" has so many political implications, that it wouldn't make sense to me on someone who doesn't tend to be politically transgressive.
It's a shame there aren't more porn studios working with trans guys though.

OMG, I have never thought of using the term Androphile, now that you say it it would totally makes sense! Thanks a lot for mentioning it, I have heard the term before and I know the etymology and meaning of it since I'm Greek (this is why I'm really surprised that it didn't cross my mind AT ALL haha)
And yes I am aware of the fact that "queer" has a political hue, but well, personally I identify as an anarcho-queer (anarchist with prominent beliefs about glbt rights, sexuality and gender freedoms, equality, and feminism), so it doesn't really bother me that it carries a political meaning too.

I'm attracted by men and women that are men and women with their typical traits (masculine men and feminine girls). Not at all by transgender or transvestite people. Nothing about their personal life choices, I know that behind the sex change there is much more than a whim, but not my type…

I'm scared to say that I'm not… nowadays everything that you say can be used against you. People call me transphobic and genitalist because I wouldn't have sex with a trans person, but the fact is that I like the male body and I like cock. I'm not sexually atractedby female bodies, and even though I think a male trans body beautifull I will miss the cock when it comes to sex. Is it wrong? If so, how is it any different from discriminating any other sexual preferences?

Nope. Honestly they freak me out as much as they do straight people. I'm not really that open minded.
Like I'm gay…but I don't feel that gives me any particular insight, compassion or shared cause with transgender people. They have their own struggles. Like if you're Latino...just because you're non-white doesn't mean you necessarily have interest in black causes.

To all above who said they are not attracted to trans people, hey that's completely fine by me! I know that people tend to get over-offended by anything these days lol idk about others but I personally consider myself smart enough to realize that not being sexually attracted to a specific gender/race/whatever doesn't mean that you couldn't be friends with them or that you hate them and you are racist/transophobic/homophobic/whatever. Whatever swings your boat I guess

I'm gay. So I am not attracted to trans girls. And as guys go, yeah if his appearance is masculine. (no breasts and hips)

I'll use the label gay if I have too, I don't broadcast my sexuality but generally i choose not to label myself at all and am comfortable with that.

Thing is, I do think (FTM) transgenders attractives.
I think some of them end up being really cute, and idk why, but there's something about they're eyes that I just love.However, I don't feel comfortable with the idea of having sex with them.
The vagina… man, I don't even know how it works lol, I don't believe I can handle it.But I kinda don't like this about myself, I hope I get to change in the future.
