OH NO! I would never wax my stache, in fact I think mustaches are one of the hottest thing a guy can have :cheesy2: :cheesy2:

But well, I guess that's only my opinion, you can try it for yourself if that's what you want ^-^ ^-^

since you wrote "wax my stache" maybe it's not clear what you were trying to express

so is there anyone, who'd really pull his hair (especially under the nose) out if he can just shave it short and then get a blade?
          WHOA!?!

while "mustache wax"  means, to put stuff in your beard to shape it (not clearly, but almost evidently)

the old term for it in Germany is "Bartwichse", which sounds like someone "made a (cum) mess in your beard" - beard-spunk/jizz

but maybe you did mean "mess it up that way", on the other hand, some shapes more or less do require stuff to make the shape firm,
also when your hair is curlier you can probably "tame" it better when you put something in it

I guess it depends on your facial hair, and how you can "control" the way it will stand/look

I'd say try not to look too greasy / filthy / funky and most of all don't have a weird taste in your facial hair or an odd smell even
that might spoil it for others a lot more than looks could ever do, just like when you lick someone's skin and a bitter note and a super strong perfume aroma won't leave your mouth too soon. Some people even use so much washing powder, that I have their clothes' smell in my mouth while sitting behind the cash register, and I'm on the other side where my groceries run…

I sometimes used the stuff you get in afro shops, like coconut wax or those hair care products they offer.. for my short to mid length goatee

actually to get a certain shine

but I always use tissues to make sure my face will not become fatty because that would be contra-productive however

I never really use a lot of it, also because my facial hair is not that long. Along to that I haven't used any kind of stuff to put in my hair but maybe birch water, just for treatment, or in rare cases oils that support hair health, which I also try to rub out as much as I can so that my hair looks shiny, but not greasy

but after teen age I never really used anything for "sculpturing" my hair  anymore, I rather try to fan it "in shape" or better yet might have shorter hair and just make sure if looks clean and "fluffy" 🙂 which gel / wax / oils / hair spray e.t.c. couldn't support

and dry shampoo (powder) might help for an emergency solution, but hearing about all those wigs in the .. hmm 18th? century.. full of powder, bugs and dirt rather makes me think of ... can't even imagine what's going on on the thing they're wearing on their head there

my mutt blond already might look funky depending on the lighting, and if other people like slick shining hair it's okay, but I prefer a natural look

should I ever grow a longer beard, or even get the idea to "sculpt" and shape my beard (can look slick, but also awfully teasingly sexy too)

then I'd maybe consider that actual stuff to use for the beard, but never too much

besides too much, whether in the hair or facial hair, looks too "spiky" for me  and I think I like my beards .. uhm.. bushy? cloud-like maybe like cotton candy that never dissolves (I won't bite it off, maybe suck it, though) or something like that

that would be another reason why one should wash their facial hair and not put too much stuff in it, so that it tastes "authentic"

and also not like the last thing you ate, just look a good hole should probably -maximally- taste like the last thing you digested, and not "worse" 😛 preferably like a nice wet gooey hole never the less

does anyone wax (as in terms of RRRRRRRRRIPPPP - AAAARGH!!?!?) their hole by the way :o? oh my!?!?!

how do I edit posts here?

"waxing" probably makes it clear that you remove something by pulling it out.. or not? hmm

if you're waxing something else you obviously give it some polishing, eh ~.~…

honestly, I don't know anymore haha
I went by conventional meaning, "waxing a mustache" like a woman does when she has a layer of hair on her upper lip. But I guess your way of interpreting it wouldn't be that false. Let's hope OP makes himself clear 😛 😛 😛
