Has the site slowed?

For the last 24 hours or so, I have been getting extremely slow links to topics, sometimes waiting a minute or more. Even signing in this morning took so long I checked to see if the site was up.
It makes it quite difficult to follow the forum threads

every step of moderation process seems to take me 45 seconds before the next page appears… hopefully this will go away soon :blownose:

Three minutes from Bookmark to Recent Posts tonight. I was just about to say that once there clicking on links seemed normal but it took ages to get this reply box up

Wow so this is a site issue? I thought my torrent acted up and I was configurating for an hour or so lol…... smh

Looks like the database migration was not a good thing. But I'm sure it will get rectified.

lecri, shame you spent that time. This has nothing to do with torrents. Everything to do with the site.
I signed in and reached the forums in usual seconds this time. Then it took 2 minutes to get to the forums. Heaven knows how long it will take after I press the post on this message at 0328 BST
PS Well, 75 seconds to post the message, then another 65 seconds to bring up my message I'd just posted, then another 60 seconds after I pressed modify. I'll post this now but perhaps not wait as it's time for bed

I virtually gave up a few hours ago but an improvement now. Still a few glitches but thanks for working on it

Allow me to shed some light on that…We are currently in the process of upgrading and moving our servers. During this process, the site may seem slow, or even generate random database errors. Please be patient with us while we complete this process so that we can better serve our users with the optimal speed and reliability that they should be able to expect.
