I have left my downloads seeding and per bit torrent I have uploaded close to 17GB but my UL amount on this page has been stuck at 14.84 for days and isn't refreshing.  This is obviously not allowing my ratio to improve.  All of the files in my bit torrent are from this site so all the uploaded data should be counted here- what do I do?

What you see in your client is cumulative, since you have started seeding the torrent. If no one is connected to you as a leecher for the past several days for the torrents then you have not been uploading. From the numbers that is what it looks like has happened.

but I'm watching the upload amounts increase- 2GB in the past 24 hours, and it's not reflected on this site- is that normal?

You may be uploading 2GB per day but you're downloading over 3GB, a rate which requires only 14 days to reach minimums. The difference between your required minimum ratio and the ratio you're at now is 2.63GB, or about two-thirds of a day's worth of your downloading. If you cash in your bonus points this should bring you closer to your minimums.

              thanks for the replys-

I understand the upload/download ratio part– what I don't understand is why if I've uploaded 2GB in the past 24 hours the "UL" at the top of the webpage here still says 14.84 for the past 3 days even as I continue to upload.  It seems like I'm not getting credit for the uploads over the past few days.

              thanks-

One way to verify you're getting seeds credited is to click on Show Seeding Torrents in your profile. If there has been no interruption (e.g., a client closed and then reopened) from the time your client started leeching a file through till seeding and beyond, then every 30 minutes the totals in the Upl. column on your profile page should match the total in the client's uploading column for that same torrent.

Your best bet would be to write the helpdesk as they have more tools at their disposal to look at the matter.

I fear staff at the Helpdesk hasn't much more tools at hand than Priest…

The momentary tracker picture is that during the last 13, respectively 5, hours, you've uploaded about 570 MB and downloaded about 9.8 GB.

In such momentary view, only currently seeding or downloading torrents are shown, not those which were seeding or uploading upon. So there might have been more UL and DL registered on other torrents during that period.

thanks for everyone's help.  I use utorrent (mac os).  The website now shows me as having uploaded 16GB though when I add up what utorrent is showing it should be >18GB by this point- not sure why there's a 2GB discrepancy but at least it's not stuck on 14 anymore
