The attacker was released without bail less than 4 hours later, despite being charged with 3 state felonies.

He was re-arrested after being charged with 2 federal felonies for attacking a member of Congress. He is still in jail for this and will be in court to see if he can get bail on 27 July.

I work in healthcare, as far as I know, sharing stuff like glasses, cups, bottles and crack pipes I guess has an increased risk of hepatitis.

but by that issue, if someone is sharing pipes, having their own won't stop other behaviors such as sharing shot glasses and booze bottles when they get high.
