And now two days later with nothing downloading (all seeding) it's 10.69TB downloaded. So it seems the tracker is adding "ghost downloads" to force ratios down. Why should we bother trying to keep a ratio up when the tracker is forcing it down? This is like swimming upstream.

RE: Freeleech is not freeleech.
This morning, I downloaded a 12GB freeleech torrent with 10.66TB downloaded. I have no other torrents at all downloading, from any tracker. Right now, though the ratio has improved slightly (I specifically picked a popular large one that I knew would move the numbers), the number has changed to 10.67TB downloaded - exactly what would happen if a > 10 GB file were downloaded. Freeleech files clearly count towards quota.

RE: Freeleech is not freeleech.
@jsl76 100% this. The download ratio is always harmed by freeleech. The tracker treats it as if it is not freeleech, and it is absolutely nothing to do with how long it is marked as freeleech by the seedbonus contributor - whether it's 24 hours or 10 days, it will always count as download ratio.

Freeleech is not freeleech.
Over the last few days, I've noticed that as I download freeleech torrents to boost the number of things being seeded, not only has the ratio not improved, it's gotten worse.
From "you need to upload another 700GB" to "you need to upload another 900GB", when there's only a single non-freeleech torrent in that time (and it was a relatively small one from the homepage, so should have been high traffic and contribute back quite quickly).
Something is very wrong with this tracker.

RE: Why is my ratio increasing?
Thanks I've already read this. I always seed my downloads and uploads etc. But i dont want my ratio to keep increasing because I am on grace and currently at 0.513 and I'm required to get to 0.600 to maintain good ratio or my account download rights will be taken.
Am I missing something?
Your ratio will continue to go up. When you downloaded 375GB worth, your ration increased to 0.6 but you also got an extra 4 days gracetime (28 total, from 24 before) and you can now download more torrents per day (your baseline went from 25 to 35). The maximum ratio requirement it can go up to is 0.8.
Soo at the top of the page where it says "UL", and then find where on the rationator table your UL is. That's your minimum ratio and gracetime.

RE: I need seedbonus points to fix my ratio and continue posting videos
There is no "if". Every torrent I've uploaded, there's this one client that always immediately leeches the entire file and seeds it at high speed. Same IP. Same torrent program. They begin leeching it within seconds of the torrent file going live on the tracker - I think it is some sort of bot or script designed to get a lot of seedbonus for the person running it by leeching and seeding pretty much everything!
Are you referring to 'brand new content released to the world/internet' or 'content that has been uploaded, taken down/removed, uploaded again a few days/weeks/months/years later'? Because the latter is quite easily possible for almost any of us who have been a member on here for some time.
Newly created torrents, usually brand new content. Not reuploaded.

RE: I need seedbonus points to fix my ratio and continue posting videos
However, if a few other members with fast service, or seedboxes, jump in early after the Upload is complete, the original guy will receive very little additional ratio. The torrent system is designed to draw bits and bytes from the most available and nimble sources. That must be frustrating.

RE: Porn videos & multiple names
I never understood this! What the fuck do people get out of doing this? Misleading people unnecessarily? I used to think that maybe people try to deceive the public in order to try and boost their ratio. But this behavior is really pointless, and people who are caught doing that should be banned. All this does is make it that much more difficult for the tracker to comply with the copyright holder; and problems for the user downloading stuff they already have!
Its especially bad because before uploading you are meant to do a search to make sure there is no duplicate, but some numbskull uploads the content using a completely different name so you don’t find it in the searches. Like that person who keeps uploading “All Australian Boys” content as “Teen Boy Models” even though 90% of the actors aren’t teens, and AAB has never used that name.
