Mountain biking will develop upper body strength and core strength. Start off easy but then challenge yourself to more difficult trails and terrain. Find some friends to join you. You won't regret it!

RE: Home workout routine.
Buy an olympic weight bar and plyo-box and do a bodyweight circuit (bar for certain exercises). Alternate core, legs, arms. Examples of exercises include squats, curls, presses, bench dips, jump-ups, step-ups, sit-ups, planks, push-ups, lunges, etc.

RE: How to lose weight in a short time?
Minimum 60-90 minutes of cardio 4-6 days / week supplemented by weight training or higher intensity cardio (think stationary bike with higher resistance, rowing machine at higher cadence or treadmill at higher incline). This combined with good control of diet. At first, to avoid not feeling full, replace higher fat foods with much lower fat foods but eat plenty of vegetables for lunch and dinner. For breakfast, make it very well balanced along the lines of 30% fat, 30% protein, 40% carbs. Like 1/2-cup lowfat yogurt (not super sweetened!), 1/2-cup granola and a hardboiled egg or scoop of peanut butter.

RE: What do they wear under their singlets?
I'd love to know! I don't see a lot of jock strap lines, so maybe nothing?

RE: Whats your favorite sports event?
College diving, wrestling and baseball!

RE: Your choice of cardio?
Swimming is the best cardio because I suck the most at it! Running, biking, cross-country skiing are all great cardio. Do what you enjoy the most. I switch it up based on the season.

RE: Is getting a personal trainer worth it?
Some gyms will give you a session with a personal trainer when you sign-up and this helps to familiarize yourself with the equipment. I definitely recommend learning proper technique first through a PT, but once you've got sound technique you shouldn't need one unless you completely lack motivation.

RE: Favorite muscle to workout?
Few things are as satisfying as core / ab work but legs are definitely great because there are so many exercises you can do. My favorite leg exercises are 1LRDL, step-ups, bench jumps, dumbbell lunges and squats.

RE: Do you use a heart rate monitor.
I used to when I was training a lot more intensely as an endurance athlete. Now I've gotten a much better feel for my training zones and can usually base my effort on splits whether running, biking, laps in the pool, etc.

RE: Gym at home or public gym
I built a small home gym with a weight bench, rowing machine, stationary bike, exercise ball, etc. I much prefer working out in a gym but it's really tough to justify the membership fees and it's nice having the flexibility to work out whenever the mood strikes without having to go out. I also hate getting out of the shower at the gym and getting into my car in the winter. Everything fogs up instantly from wet hair, sweat, etc!

RE: Wet dreams
I usually jack off enough that it doesn't happen often to me. One time in high school I was on a week long camping / climbing trip with my best friend and on about day 5 I had a wet dream in my sleeping bag. Since then I've found ways/places to get off during long trips to avoid another instance of that happening!

RE: Swimming or running ?
I love running because I love the feeling of being completely drenched in sweat and getting tan out in the sun. But I also love swimming, stripping out of my Speedo in the shower and the smell of my skin after being in the pool. So I run in the summer and swim in the winter!

RE: What do u think about sex in the gym?
Fantasy is for a really hot guy to come into the sauna, unwrap his towel, we trade glances a few times, time passes, I look over and he's got a boner. We scoot a little closer, trade a few more glances, then start touching each other. We have to be careful since anyone could walk in so we jerk each other off slowly, ready to pull towels back over us if we need to.

RE: Have you been checked out at the gym? Guys looking at you.
It's usually the other way around but I've seen some guys, usually older gay guys, sneak a peek.
