You said there was tracker.gaytorrent.ru in the hosts file. Can you edit it and put a "#" informant of that line. That will comment that entry out.

it is that entry of the host file which short circuit the domain server requests and avoids that your µTorrent connects to the right IP of our server.

Ok I am trying the # in front of the tracker.gaytorrent, will let you know in about 5 minutes. Also Speed I am using utorrent 3.2.3 build 28705 32bit, supposedly its the most recent model. I have downloaded/uploaded with the upgrade previously.

I figured as much with the reboot. Unfortunately that didn't work for me =(..

I actually have windows xp still :). Anyways I tried the way you said just in XP format.

I opened notepad as admin, went to file > open > changed files of type to all files > > Windows > system32 > drivers > etc > I have 5 files, hosts (which is what I opened) lmhosts, networks, protocol, services. anyway I opened hosts, it tells me this is a file containing mapping of ip addresses, anyways it shows my ip along with local host then it showed another ip possibly my own with www.gaytorrent.ru then tracker.gaytorrent.ru after another different ip. So what I did was is delete www.gaytorrent.ru and the ip address then saved the document. I haven't tried restarting yet, ill give that a try and let you know if it changes or not.

In the past when gaytorrent went down I wasn't able to get on. Then I heard it was back and tried getting on but I kept getting an error saying something along the lines of a DNS problem. so I googled a solution because I didn't know how to contact the website and I ended up changing my DNS to where it worked with gaytorrent. Just recently after the changes made to the server recently I have been having problems and am unable to download/upload. I will let you know if it works or not after rebooting but I am not sure. Hello recently I have noticed that you made some changes to the servers due to the slowness. However recently I have not been able to download or upload any torrents. any help or anything you are aware of? thank you for your help
