      @ravena1:

      Special Counsel Robert Mueller is reportedly examining a draft letter written by President Trump enumerating his reasons for firing former FBI Director James Comey. White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Trump will make an announcement on DACA, the Obama-era program offering protections for young undocumented immigrants, on Tuesday. Meteorologists are tracking Hurricane Irma, a storm brewing in the eastern Atlantic ocean that became a Category 3 hurricane on Thursday. Trump is expected to visit Texas and Louisiana on Saturday, his second visit to the flood-ravaged region this week. The U.S. economy added 156,000 jobs in August, and the unemployment rate increased slightly to 4.4 percent.

      source: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/09/the-atlantic-politics-policy-daily-dear-jim/538737/

      I wonder how Herr Mueller got his hands on a DRAFT of a letter.  Also, a draft letter has little or no relevance.   I also wonder how it got reported that Mueller got his hands on a DRAFT of a letter.
      That's a good wrap up of the current events in the USA.   Irma is unusual in that it has developed into a very powerful hurricane prematurely.  Nobody has any idea what it's ultimate path will be yet.

      Something else occurs to me.. presidents rarely write their own letters or speeches.  They have someone else write them, and they are told what to include in them.  The president then edits it and it goes back and forth.
      What bothers me is that someone at the justice department.. probably Rosenstien.. gave Mueller that irrelevant draft letter.

      @ravena1:

      A ballot initiative proposed Friday would allow California consumers to know what personal information businesses are collecting from them, what they do with it — and to who they are selling it.

      Backers of the initiative, dubbed the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, are aiming for a spot on the November 2018 statewide ballot. The measure would establish a consumer's right to request that a business disclose what categories of personal data it gathers, and to say no to the sale of any of that information without fear of losing services or facing discrimination.

      It would require businesses to make those disclosures free of charge within 30 days.

      Robin Swanson, a general consultant for the measure, says it would "give Californians more control over what personal information is shared."

      The proposed ballot initiative, led by Mary Ross, president of Californians for Consumer Privacy, comes several months after President Trump signed into law a repeal of privacy regulations limiting what broadband providers can do with customer data.

      source: http://www.latimes.com/politics/essential/la-pol-ca-essential-politics-updates-proposed-california-ballot-initiative-1504313223-htmlstory.html

      This is great.. and it would create a massive problem for Facebook.

      One thing though.. although Trump did repeal a privacy regulations.. that is not quite what it seems.  The existing regulations were unfair.  The existing regulations restricted everybody with a few exceptions - most notably FACEBOOK.  Those regulations were crap, so Trump nuked them.  Now, because the dysfunctional restrictions are gone…  NEW restrictions can be made that INCLUDE Facebook!

      Restrictions that don't include Facebook are meaningless.. which is why Trump nuked them.  He won't nuke the restrictions that include the fake news propagators.

      If you HONESTLY think this is happening, then report it on the helpdesk and let the dupe account staff deal with it.  :police:

      Fair enough but Frederick should stop posting about violating websites TOS by creating multiple accounts.  When someone tells you who they are, believe them.

      You continue to misrepresent my comments.   I said Facebook disabled my account, forcing me to make a new account, then disabling that, etc.   They used to have a system where they would suspend an account for a day, then a few days, then a week, then a month.  They used to have a system where they would suspend an account until you changed your name, or gave them more information.  They used to have a system where you had to verify your account by identifying people on your friend's list.  They used to have a system where you had to verify an account by giving them a cell phone number.   Even when given this information, they still don't re-instate the accounts.  They are fishing for information.   I have a few disabled accounts, and a few suspended accounts that they won't re-enable and give me no explanation.

      I never violated their TOS, they changed their TOS.  At the time I created those accounts, I was within the rules.  FACEBOOK doesn't even follow their OWN rules.

      So, enough about me.

      YOU Aadam101, consistently break the rules of this site.   That's not going to continue ad infinitum.

      In the meantime, prepare to get exposed as being the piece of dooky you are.

      :police: Tone it down please.  :police:

      Labour now wants to take the UK back to what the people voted on back in 1973,  an economic union.    The UK never voted on a political union.

      This is scary because it's exactly what happened 40 years ago.  I think this is their way to sneak in another political union.

      Dude your article gets worse and worse until it's just not readable anymore. The individual responsible for the killing in Charlottesville was an Antifa member, an actor. He was a democrat, a liberal, a Hillary supporter, and ACTING as though he was a Trump supporter and a white nationalist/kkk/neo-Nazi. Those organizations don't really exist anymore. He was photographed with Antifa regalia and was a paid Soros stooge, and after the killing (which was probably not intended) his Facebook and Twitter posts were immediately erased to destroy all the evidence of his Hillary support. We all know it. Just stop. He was pictured in Antifa gear. He was not a Trump supporter or a white nationalist. Just stop dude. It's fake news. Quit spreading rumors. Quit spreading lies. We aren't falling for it.

      This video shows him as an ACTOR, an ANTIFA member, and a SOROS stooge:
      Youtube Video

      They literally SCRUBBED his Facebook and Twitter like Hillary deleting emails… So shameful. What is wrong with you guys! The media says, "OH! The white nationalist behind all this.." puh-lease!!! He was a Hillary loving socialist! Damn. I can't believe you guys actually follow this nonsense.
