Anyone have experience with using ExpressVPN and uTorrent to download from this site?

I have uTorrent set to accept connections on port 21005, and my router is forwarding that port to the PC that I use for torrents.  When connected natively to the Internet I get the green icon that uTorrent is accepting incoming connections.  When I activate the VPN client it is yellow (ok to download but no incoming connections).  Is anyone successfully using this combination of software and, if so, over which port please?  Any suggestions?
