@thesock I've seen almost the opposite argument being made, too. Some people seem to think that GTRU is too easily discoverable, which has led to a lot of DMCA attention, and would prefer it to go more private, which would mean fewer participants.

@dilemmax I haven't noticed the same but, at a guess: it's Thanksgiving. Perhaps whoever is working to submit DMCA notices has a couple of days off.

There have been phases when it's been working and phases, like now, where all completed torrents show as "offline (timeout)" in μTorrent and all downloading torrents are stuck on "Finding peers (0.0%)"
