I highly recommend using a VPN as well. It's better to be safe than sorry, and you can have peace of mind to share whatever you want.
Most VPNs offer their own clients/programs to make setup a breeze. Many build protection into their clients in case you lose the connection to the VPN.
The protection blocks all internet connections while the client is running but not connected, until it can reestablish a connection.

They offer all the features other VPN providers do, and in some cases more.
I prefer VPNs over seedboxes because I have a decent upload connection already and like the many other protections and features VPNs offer.
Why worry every time you upload and/or download? Just get a VPN. 😉 🙂
