RE: LGBT books?
1974 novel, The Front Runner by Patricia Nell Warren notable for becoming the first book of contemporary gay fiction to reach the New York Times Best Seller List

RE: What is your favourite book lgbt?
Last year during my out of town work, I bought a book (paper back) on sale. The title of the 1974 novel is The Front Runner by Patricia Nell Warren. I was touched by the sensitivity of the love story of a running coach and his star athlete. I must have read it a dozen times.
It is also in the book where I learned the difference between a front runner and a kicker

RE: Ben Affleck "The Best Batman Ever" – blasphemy, yeah or nay?
Back to the Batman, who is the most convincing Bruce Wayne and do you think that matters in the characterization of the Batman?
Personal opinion of course, Christian Bale, he has the aristocratic looks of a notorious playboy (as Bruce Wayne) and in Batman's costume (for lack of better word) he is formidable. Acting wise, he is good.
BTW, only Lewis Wilson comes close to Batman's age 23 and 25 respectively, all other actors were in their 30+

RE: Ben Affleck "The Best Batman Ever" – blasphemy, yeah or nay?
About a different universe, did you watch The Inhumans?
We're getting off topic, but to answer your question, No. Is it any good? I find Anson Mount ruggedly sexy

RE: Ben Affleck "The Best Batman Ever" – blasphemy, yeah or nay?
Would you marry me?
:urock:In order for me to marry you, first we have to kill my husband and then we will be criminals and happily ever after would be like nil. So however, tempting, No :funny2: :funny2: :funny2:
Kidding aside, I have the full 15 chapters of that Batman 1943, although I have only watched the first 3 chapters (maybe one of these rainy days, I will have a movie marathon on the last remaining 12 chapters)

RE: Ben Affleck "The Best Batman Ever" – blasphemy, yeah or nay?
BTW, have either of you seen the original Batman from 1943? He's come a long way.
Is this the retro serial that have 15 Chapters and starring Lewis Wilson as Bruce Wayne/Batman? The first one being "The Electronic Brain"?. If yes, then I have only watched Electronic Brain, The Bat's Cave and The Mark of the Zombies.

RE: Ben Affleck "The Best Batman Ever" – blasphemy, yeah or nay?
I think it's too early to say that, since Ben has yet to release a solo Batman movie (The Batman is still on pre-production)
For Batman movies, I agree with this article

RE: Post the last movie you've seen and how you rate it
mother 8/10
Really? That movie is getting hammered on RottenTomatoes, and the critics appear to loathe this movie. Why do you like it?
I liked it cause i knew what i was getting into before i saw it, i liked the acting and i liked that it made you think even after it was finished. It was also very allegorical and most people didn't expect that.
Agree with you on that and I would rate it 7/10
Movie based on The Decameron (1971) the segment of Deaf and Mute man with the nuns. Funny enough 6/10

RE: Post the last movie you've seen and how you rate it
Maybe a vampire and full frontal nudity?
Come to think of it, forget the vampire, must be the prolonged frontal nudity in drink me is what lacking in The Secret Kiss"
-
RE: Post the last movie you've seen and how you rate it
The plot is similar to Drink Me (2015) minus the vampire and frontal nudities. It could have been good but somehow lacking in something which I can't exactly put into words. 4/10

EMMY's Winners 2017
By now, winners have been announced in the 69th EMMY Awards Night
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/69th_Primetime_Emmy_Awards
I will still have to watch Nicole Kidman's Big Little Lies to see why she won over Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon in Feud: Bette and Joan (which I happen to watched). These two ladies gave a dynamic performances.

A good enough thriller about "Events repeating itself, only this time with a different end result. 6.5/10
