    • RE: Is it ok to exercise after eating?

Male can burn fat faster training fasted, women on the other day do not.

If your not getting your macros/kcals correct in the first place, thinking about timing of meals is completely pointless. Gut health and sleep optimisization with a good diet is far far more important.

Post-workout meal example: fast acting carbs, LOW fibre & protein.

I.E Bowl of almond milk, cocopop cereal & a protein shake. You don't want HIGH fibre (so if you use rice, use white as its less fibre and fast absorbing), otherwise it slows down the process of absorption - insulin levels are higher after working out hard so you're soak up nutrients better.

    • RE: Peanut butter

Peanut Butter (SODIUM likely) is good preworkout, espically when combined with fast acting carbs as it'll slow down the insulin response & release of carb spike.

An example is 2-4x Rice Cakes + 20-30g Peanut Butter (High Sodium) + Jam/Honey or another fast acting sugar. IF you have money, a supplement such as Vitargo or whatever the US version is called is your best bet.

Water + Salt is one of the most overlooked element of preworkout: If your not carbs + hydration + salt is KEY to maximise pumps, forgetting any preworkout "MAGIC" protocol first.

    • RE: Passive Excercise: Does it work?

Complete waste of money. If you want anything in relation to helping your muscles recovery, buy a massage gun and use correctly.

    • RE: How you do feel if you jerked off before going to the gym?

I wouldn't personally recommend "cumming" before the gym, getting to get edge is fine. Once you have had an orgasm, you're more likely than not feel slightly less ALPHA + Tiredness as your body will instantly spike protactin levels (this is what makes you feel sleepy) - If your taking steroid related stuff or pornstar for that matter such as Caberlione, your 'refraction period' is reduced therefore you can 'reload' much quicker so its miles less of an concern.

    • ASK A FITNESS EXPERT ANYTHING.

Hey, new to the forum - only actually registered here as someone leaked a nude video of me believe it or not haha!

Seen quite a few ask fitness related stuff and used to always help out on gaming forums and so on with fitness advise for no return.

Happy to help; just list questions & don't be a prick,

I've won a number of UK fitness competitions, coached people all over the world (dont really do anymore just muscle worship, temporarily).

      Enjoy x

    • RE: Can i lose weight with diet alone?

      Hey,

Nick here leading personal trainer in London, UK.

To loose weight just focus on basics.

      1. Be fully hydrated 24/7 or your metabolism and other functions are never optimal
      2. Track what you eat using myfitnesspal or at least use some sort of a measure i.e a cup (weight the cup with say blueberries and its 100g), then you know by eye its 100g approx
      3. Be in a 20% calorie deficit (below your metabolic rate + whatever energy you burn, i.e walking step count, gym etc.) days off, stick to higher fat intake & startly higher protein which you want 1-2.5g per lb of bodyweight (slightly difference if your very high bodyfat). Days off stick to a 30% calorie deficit.
      4. Working out macros… download this spreadsheet off google - type into google "natural bodybuilding spreadsheet" it's the top link, will auto download - pretty straight forward (disgard all the food related stuff, just get the numbers and set deficits etc).
      5. Eat less sugar - majority of overweight people have fucked up insulin sensitivity levels which hinders fat-loss potential (even in a deficit - below what your body needs - which yields fat-burning).
      6. Fast for 12 hours minumum between your LAST & first meal - this is where serious gut repair happens & can improve your health 10 fold. Mainly people in the world don't loose fat easy due to imbalance gut hormones if your not aware for example 70-90% of sorathinin (happy hormone) is producted via gut signals. Poor gut = depression, aniexty and so...

Plenty other things could say but stick to basics, exercise 4-5x week high intensity (low rest periods, 60min MAX), plenty of water and get an understanding of your diet & monitor your body-weight, measurements and pictures (3 pillar system).

Note if your not really clued up, cutting your carbs down massively, the weight you loose fast isn't fat, its water retention; soon as you eat carbs again it'll put weight back on and put you often into a spiral of negative mindset as think you've put on loads of fat - its water, stop tripping ;)!

      Regards
      Nickduffyfitness/Frazer.
