If have a message that's telling me that I need to fix my ratio by seeding or something like that, what does that mean and how can I do it. I'm really bad at those things and i'm french so I don't understand everything very well ^^

Hey, I'm new to this site and I wanted to upload a video, I downloaded the quicktorrentmaker that is on the site, and I uploaded the file but then the window closed and idk if its posted.
I didn't really understood it well but I think I can't download torrents if I don't upload things, if someone can explain me how it works I'd be very thankful !
