i'm not much of a writer myself, but i just want to add my comments to this debate as well…
a ratio of 0.25 is UNBELIEVABLY low and only encourages further leaching. As you can see by my own ratio, I'm far from a model member, but at least I try I make it a point of seeding until I have reached at least 1.00 on my ratio for that file, but sometimes I grab a file that is older I guess and not many people are looking for it... so it doesn't always work out.
What I'm curious about though, is why there is a limit on how many files you can have active at any given time?
Can anybody explain what the reasons for this are? Just curious... This is one of the main reasons I have to stop seeding some files.
Besides all that... Happy New Year to each and every one of you! May it be the best year yet!
