To me the best cure for loneliness and depression are as such:
a. Take a mental inventory of what may actually be causing the depression (i.e chemically induced, feeling no hope, a loss of a loved one job etc, or maybe a life goal that has not been reached) and correct it.
b. Look at what you are basing your happiness on, money, another human being, your looks etc. try to center your happiness on fact not illusion, maybe that you are alive and have made the first step by placing this post. Well being can sustain itself more if it is built on something no one else can take from you.
c. Work on diet and fitness and maybe natural supplementation to make sure your nutrition is balanced and your body has all it needs to fight life stuff and depression at the same time.
d. Pets, Children, these are innocents who remind us that it is possible to be happy simply because we are able to give the gift of joy to others, if you do not have kids spending time with nieces and nephews can work beautifully it is a definite win-win.
e. TAKE ACTION nothing will work I mean nothing anti depression pills or homeopathy or religion if you do not isolate why you are sad and go about the business of fixing it (i.e maybe you want to start a business, be a singer, or whatever your heart song is you have seen the side of darkness so it can be powerful to take a leap of faith and risk it all in the direction of being the person you have always wanted to be.
F. Finally know that you are not ALONE people allover the world are fighting this battle right along side of you, find a way to connect with these brave souls and together you can light your way out of this abyss and into the life you so lovingly deserve.
