@MrMazda --- OK. I thought using a VPN for torrents was highly recommended. I guess I'm back to square one then. Thanks for your time.

RE: SEEDING TROUBLE
@MrMazda OK, thanks. Is there an easy to follow set of instructions somewhere here for qbittorrent?

RE: SEEDING TROUBLE
@MrMazda -- This is the same answer I always get. And yet, my settings work fine with about a dozen other torrent sites I'm a member. This is the only site that gives me seeding problems.

SEEDING TROUBLE
I've tried asking this question before and never really get anywhere, so I thought I'd try again but this time with an attachment that my help my explanation. I've been a member here for 25 years. I've always been a good member with a healthy ratio of more than 1.0. My ratio used to always hover around 2.0. A few years back, something changed here on this site, because I noticed that even though I had no problems downloading anything at top speed, as soon as the download was finished, the upload would shut off almost completely as if someone turned off a faucet. My seeding ratios suddenly were at .2 or .5. They rarely made it above 1.0. And it's only happening HERE. I am member of various other torrent sites and my ratio on each of those sites is always at 2, 3 or above 4. On every other site, I have no problem seeding after a download. EXCEPT HERE. So, it's not my client app (qbittorrent) and it's not my internet connection. I also seed 24/7. As proof, I've attached a copy of my activity log from qbittorrent so that you can see what my seeding ratio is elsewhere. I'm hoping someone can explain this to me because I don't like being a leecher with a bad ratio. This situation has also affected me to where I don't download as much anymore for fear of being flagged as a bad member.
Thank you for your time.

RE: INCORRECT LEECHING INFORMATION
@MrMazda Right, I understand how everything works on my end. I've been a member for over a dozen years. These are files that were downloaded months ago and show as seeding in my client. The error is in what the site is showing.

RE: INCORRECT LEECHING INFORMATION
@john32123666 Thanks John. I've already done all that you mentioned, yet the leeching status hasn't changed at all.

INCORRECT LEECHING INFORMATION
My stats are showing that I am currently leaching eight files, which is incorrect. This error is preventing me from downloading anymore files. How do I delete this bad info and correct this?

RE: I need a VPN any suggestions.
I've used a few, but the only one I've been 100% happy with is BT Guard. I've used it for a few years now.

RE: Now unable to download
PLEASE DISREGARD MY ABOVE POST. I WAS ABLE TO CHANGE SOME OPTIONS AND MY CLIENT IS NOW WORKING AS NORMAL.
Thank you!

Now unable to download
I mainly use Vuze to download torrents. I've never had any problems with it, but suddenly in the past few days anytime I try to download a torrent from gaytorrent.ru, it won't download. In Vuze, I get this error message:
• Connection Error (SSLException:java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not generate DH keypair, Prime size must be multiple of 64, and can only range from 512 to 1024 (inclusive))
If I try to download anything from here using utorrent (with BT Guard protection), I get this message:
• Could not obtain SSL chunk size
These download problems are only occurring with torrents from this site. I have no problems with torrents from other sites, and as I said, this just began a couple days ago.
Does anybody have any thoughts about what could be happening? Please, use basic language if you respond. Most of the technical torrent jargon goes over my head.
Thank you in advance for your help!

RE: Can't stay logged in
I've had the same problem and it just began recently. As in the past couple of weeks. If I log in and then come back a few hours later to see what's new, I find that I've been logged out and have to log in all over again.
How is this even such a big deal? Are you exceptionally lazy? I am pro security in general, and I don't find having to log in again once every few hours to be that big of a deal.
If it really bothers you, why not use a free password manager like Last Pass? Mind, in my case, I still get the CAPTCHA on re-login attempts.
Some people seem to think not being logged in will somehow affect their ability to seed/download their torrents, but that is not the case.
Yes, I am exceptionally lazy. As you are exceptionally rude.

BT GUARD QUESTIONS …
If anyone out there has any experience with using BT Guard here, I would like some help if possible.
After installing BT Guard, I noticed a few things:
1. My upload speed went from about 100 kbps to about half that though it does sometimes jump to 100 kbps momentarily.
2. After seeding a torrent, my upload speed drops to either zero or maybe 20kbps as if I'm no longer the initial seeder.
3. My download speed is unaffected. It's still the same as it ever was.
Also, BT guard came with these two trackers installed:
udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce
udp://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce
I deleted those and substituted the GT tracker in their place. Was that correct?
Any help is appreciated … and please, please, please speak as much as possible in non-techo terms. I am somewhat techo savvy, but this is a new territory for me.
Thanks again.
