I'm using uTorrent 2.2.1 because I was told this was the latest stable version that used the trackers correctly but that was a few years ago and I'm wondering if this version is still considered the most stable working with gaytorrent or if another is better. Should I upgrade to a more recent version or just stay put. Thanks again dude

Thanks for the explanation, I never would have figured that out, might seem obvious to some or most people but expecting everyone to just know is a bit bonkers haha. Anyway, weird that it took me years to trigger this but guess my luck had finally fizzed out. I have a couple more questions if you're cool with it. What about multi-file torrents? If they're 100% done, but then some files get deleted, does that take up one of the 15 active slots again, and either way are they still used for seeding with missing bits n bobs? Lastly I've got loads of finished torrents moved here and there to different drives/folders etc, and I used Windows Explorer to move the files from the main torrent folder but uTorrent doesn't seem to know where they went. I'm hoping there's an easy fix, since I can't be the only one who moves files. So, how can I easily update uTorrent to like scan or something for the new file locations so they're ready for seeding? Because I couldn't say for sure where some of those files ended up and it would take a long time to go one by one figure out where the file went and then tell uTorrent where to look because I've probably got close to 1000 torrents spread around 5 drives and eventually want just 2 huge drives 1 that can hold all my data and the other as a backup so putting in the torrents one by one now and then again and again whenever they get moved next sounds boring and I don't ever see myself doing that kind of data entry work for a porn collection lol. I deleted the 593 torrents I was seeding and it works now, I didn't know there was a cap on seeding, seems like that defeats the point of the ratio but I don't understand a lot about the torrent stuff. Just thought I'd post how I fixed it in case someone else is wasting all day trying to get their download back. Cheers

I've just spent hours trying to figure out why my torrents don't start, I set up the port and that's working good but still not downloading. When I select a torrent and look under tracker it says "https://tracker.gaytor.rent/510053. Failure: Bad Ratio: Ratio:1.063 (To many Torrents. Your current limit is 15 at the same time. See Rules / To fix limits you could Donate" But I'm only downloading 3 and have like 200 seeding so I pause everything but the 3 I am trying to grab and still nothing. Whats happening here?

Hello, I was suggested to seek the help of a mod to get a working version of utorrent-3-5-5 because I dont't have a prevvious version of uTorrent downloaded and the 'safe' site with previous versions to download doesn't have the real files they say they do so how do new users get the only version of uTorrent that works with gaytorrents??

@john32123666 I was also concerned about that, but with the 'safe' guys not having the real files available for download I think thats the only option for now, I'm not so sure I wanna be the test guy since I just went tru the hassle of doing a fresh install of Windows 10 because after 6 annoying months of Windows 11 I couldn't take anymore buggy crap so i wiped the turd OS and here I am trying to install the programs I use but apparently the only version of uTorrent that works with gaytorrents is no longer available so that kinda sux, I guess I'll check back later and see if you guys ever get this fixed for new users...

@john32123666 perhaps the host has messed up its files. is there another site with older versions of utorrent available?

@john32123666 that link installed μTorrent Web Version 1.0.5.1933 (5880) I'm unfamiliar with uTorrent web and not sure what that is even, do the trackers work for that web only version of uTorrent?

@john32123666 Thanks, I'll try that version now. Even with internet off when I open the file to install the older version downloaded from the link utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348 it says it's installing version 3.6 in the second page of the installation process, not sure how it is automatically changing the version

@john32123666 ok I think this is where my issue is. it installed version 3.6 so I dont have anything for it to not update to so when I uncheck auto update it just stays at version 3.6 because that is what was installed when I installed utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348 and because there was no previous version ever installed on this computer it it doesn't matter that I wont allow it to auto update since it never installed utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348 in the first place. I'm really not trying to piss you off dude. I'm going to try to uninstall it and then disconect it from the internet and install utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348 AGAIN to see if that makes a difference, maybe if it can't connect to anything it will actually install utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348 like it should

@john32123666 I agree, this is way past too much. one last time breakdown and then I'll leave it. I have a fresh install of windows 10 no uTorrent. I download utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348 from the older versions link but it installs version 3.6. I then uncheck the auto update checkbox and then I install utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348 again but it does not downgrade anything. Where am I going wrong or should I just give up?

@john32123666 under help it says version 3.6 even tho I downloaded utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348 and installed it twice and unchecked auto update after the first and sceond install of utorrent-3-5-5-build-46348

@john32123666 I'm trying my best man. So I installed version 3.6 by downloading version 3.5.5 from the link and unchecked the auto update and now I'm supposed to install the same file again from the link? Is that how to downgrade?

@john32123666 ok thanks. I'll try my best haha. also I had to reset my computer so I have all my torrents I was seeding in my backup external, do I just put them back in the folder where the torrents go after completed and then click the torrent files for each to get them back seeding again?

Every link I've tried to download older versions of uTorrent just installs version 3.6 so how do people install older versions?
