These thoughts are inevitable. In my opinion, I don't think of it as getting desperate, as much as it is not giving a fuck about what people think as we age. Almost everyone I've talked to who lived a sheltered life, eventually loosen up as they get older, just because curiosity hits concerning those things we once vehemently resisted. On the other hand, speaking for myself, I do worry about being single as I age. It's a lot more work getting to know someone as an much older man, and it's more complicated too, as men are set in their ways, as well as overlapping generation gaps.

Not to sound like I'm on a moral horse, I still prefer not to do those things, just because of the safety factor. Also, it's incredibly different when you have sex with someone you love, a pose to having sex with an acquaintance. I know what I really want, and I know if I have sex outside of having a loving monogamous relationship, I'm just setting myself up for trouble. Mind you, it doesn't mean that I won't ever do it (we all have needs), I'm just least likely.

I had no idea how sometimes complicated and frustrating getting old can get (in terms of our interactions with other men). There are far too many of us that don't click (it seems) than those men that do.

@ricky Well, one thing is for sure, nothing gets a Homophobic person of power attention, than paying big penalty fees. But, we need to see the bigger picture here. We need to keep an eye on automation. These companies aren't hiring human beings anymore. With every emailed question, is followed by a random script. With every phone call, there's hours of button selection, to then listen to a 10 minute recording. This is why we have no fucking business letting massive immigrants in to this country. I'm really concerned about the level of devastation this is going to have in our country. The whole of United states could end up looking like Detroit.

@ricky That would be a complicated discussion. I actually brought this up in my therapy group. It's a mixed bag from many angles. I personally feel that all of this is for show. They only want to look like their doin' something. "Show what an asshole Tramp was." The other thing in my opinion, all this LGBT bullshit is only coming out because they have no intention on closing that fucking boarder, and they need something on paper to say "ok boyz and girlz," play nice, and hands off the queers!

The pros are that we would be officially protected from getting fired and getting evicted. But in reality, that really doesn't mean shit. Because an evil fuck will always find a way to disguise their despicable homophobia as something else. The other reality, I think this can hurt gays more who are trying to get in the work force now, a pose to a gay person who's already established on their job/field. So, in other words, we may be protected from getting fired, but that doesn't mean we're gonna get anymore jobs either. But, I guess something is better than nothing.

I didn't finish reading the article, but it looks like the only big stink the republicans are making is, taking away the religious right to discriminate against us due to their beliefs. This is something that needs to stop once and for all. A group of religious fucks can be ok with harshly discriminating against LGBT people, up to the point of effecting our livelihood, but then cry tears of sorrows if they feel their faith is being attacked. Fuck them.

@raphjd In order to keep ourselves sane, the easiest way to explain this is, anyone on the far left side (or even "moderately left") are fucking insane. They are literally a modern day cult if you ask me. I am so disappointing and depressed how Americans allowed these muthefuckers do what they do. This is not about racism, or "the White man." It's about America being fucking stupid and can't think for themselves. A lot of what's happening now is the same mindset within religion. I can't see this bullshit being corrected without American citizens having a serious physical battle to take America back from these insane fucks.

I used to have good gaydar in the early 80s. But, somehow things have changed, and it's become more difficult for me. Our culture as changed significantly, and now we have more trans people that exists more than ever. I think it takes a lot more careful observation to spot a gay guy nowadays. (just my opinion).

The other reality is, women in general are subjected to weight discrimination (regardless of race). The reality is, our generation is just rude and nasty mutherfuckers. Period! We just like to put people down to feel better about ourselves! None of these mutherfuckers that judge you for your weight are doctors. But, even doctors refuse to include genetics as a reason for obesity. Neither do they talk about all these depression meds that are causing weight gain at an astronomical level. Honestly, people just need to shut the fuck up.
