Worth saying though that home-made English muffins are waaaaay better than shop bought. I'd just like them all to look the same. The ones from the second roll of the dough look a bit…... :afr:
Anyone here a practiced/semi-pro baker? I made my own muffins (shop-bought ones all smell of vinegar and that puts me off). I used a standard bread recipe, but substituted milk for the water. They tasted great. But I had trouble with the appearance. First roll of the risen dough got me 8 small but perfect muffins. I reformed the left-over dough to make a second batch and they all came out lop-sided and mis-shapen. Is there a technique to re-forming risen yeast dough so the muffins all come out looking the same?

Yeah….scenes or movies 20 years old or more (rather using a specific year as a starting point) is a good compromise. I think 25 years+ is just too high.
^^ What's the typical speed/charge, MM? And do you have usage caps? Most ISPs here - England/rest of UK - don't have caps.

Vintage: This surely comes down to the age of the person uploading/downloading/viewing. The suggestion that it be reserved for pre 1990 releases is, IMO, a bit odd. Anything much older than a decade is starting to look creaky and anything pre-2000 is now starting to look ancient. For instance, some Bel-Ami and Hungarian stuff has aged really badly. I've no idea what the age range is here, but putting the Vintage tag only on movies which are now almost 25 years old seems way off the mark, in my opinion. I'd set it at 15 years. The age of an excellent peaty whiskey.

While I too wonder why Americans put up with daft prices in return for relatively little (it's what happens when corporations go largely unchallenged), it's probably best not get too complacent or, God forbid, smug. We in England/rest of the UK have little to crow about. Too much of Europe leaves us for dust when it comes to speeds and sheer value for money.

I should have added the usual caveat when installing free software - avoid the unwanted addition of browsers/toolbars/3rd-party software by making sure you untick the right boxes during the install process.
