RE: No IMDb Link for Movie, TV, Video or Short
Okay, now I need to figure out how to get a page on IMDB created…....
First Out : Vol. 3 has an IMDB page ehre: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2926738/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_1
But apparently IMDB has not found the Vol. 1 nor Vol. 2 worthy of created a page for them,….. (yet?)

RE: No IMDb Link for Movie, TV, Video or Short
Too be honest, the documentary SoleJourney is the absolute first thing that I have never been able to find on IMDB. But, I am sure that everything can stand improvements and additions.
we could make it a kind of trivia game…. to see who can find titles NOT on IMDB.... No prizes of course (unless cyber smooches count)....

RE: Gay-themed vs Popular w/ Gay Audiences….Gay Cult Classics vs Gay, but not gay!
It probably just got locked (and I just assUme this) because time went by and there was no activity? Unless I misread the date, and when I did read it my jaw kinda dropped, that it was a discussion from 2010. I am going to have to go back and look again, oh, and another reason maybe was that the comments/replies… kinda.... well,.... disintegrated there towards the bottom/the end.
That is a good point about the str8-males and admiring their bodies - but then isn't that where the fetish comes in from sunbathing, bodybuilding, and wrestling vids as well? Nothing wrong with a little drooling.... or any other fluidly show of appreciation >:D that these guys(and gals?) wanna show in appreciation (er,... um,... SO I hear ... that that's what people do.... um... to some of these vids). :cheesy2:
Maybe if there was more of an outline/file structure type breakdown or org chart style to the categories.... even when I search for specific items, I get all sorts of other types of responses all blended in..... sometimes not finding what I am looking for (by specific title or genre) until later - and by accident then just randomly stumbling across it when a by name search did not reveal it/them/etc.
Anyway, my thought is if we had to chose between door #1, door #2, door #3 .... or it was like outline/file structure layout by category .... maybe it might be easier to see everything in a genre that we wanted to see into - and not others.
Of course, I know (have been told) that we can chose to turn the straight stuff off..... but what about turning the 'gay-interest' on? :crazy2: :afr: :blind:  :hug2:

RE: Gay-themed vs Popular w/ Gay Audiences….Gay Cult Classics vs Gay, but not gay!
I see this was a topic that was considered back in 2010 and the thread is now closed: https://forum.gaytorrent.ru/index.php?topic=10949.0
But, I guess [one of] my point(s) is,….. we allow straight porn, but not straight-just-barely-gay non-porn. :w00t:

Gay-themed vs Popular w/ Gay Audiences….Gay Cult Classics vs Gay, but not gay!
All non-porn material must be LGBTQ themed by its main plot and characters or contain a recurring LBGTQ subplot. Gay-interest, an openly gay actor or minor gay references are insufficient to meet this requirement. Also acceptable are non-porn films involving voyeurism of the adult male physique. Examples of voyeuristic material include bodybuilding, wrestling and underwear/swimwear.
[Oooh Good Lawhdie,….. do you even know how many things I see on this site that do not conform to THIS????]
Honestly…. I think that shows like Downton Abbey (with 'evil gay' Thomas) that does not seem to meet the rules is a lot more "gay themed" than all these non-porn, straight, fully clothed wrestling uploads. I'm not talking about wrestling matches that end in sex,... I'm talking about the straight guys wrestling that never get naked. But according to a strict interpretation of the rules, most of the gay stuff on tv is not acceptable. The web address is gaytorrent.ru not gayporn.ru or gayporntorrent.ru - just saying.
Sooo, I hear that now "we" ARE ALLOWING STRAIGHT porn.... but not gaaaaay enuff nor straight but gay for their time tv shows. I mean, c'mon... pick a side. It's not Gay&StraightFindAPornTorrent.com
Soooo --> sure, but try to understand... "Popular with gays" does NOT constitute "Gay themed", as required here. [Not gay themed CERTAINLY does NOT apply to STRAIGHT PORN…. and I still would like to put forth the idea that fully clothed sunbathers is NOT GAY THEMED either.... and neither is male wrestling (the fully clothed, no sex kind)... I do not care who enjoys it, it is indeed NOT a FETISH.... even if people enjoy watching it. Some people enjoy watching spelling bees and beauty pageants, but that does not a FETISH make.....
Sooo,..... Not gay sex, not gay porn, not 2 men wrestling, so nope - not allowed on GAYtorrent.ru - can I post a thread suggesting we change the name to GayPornOrBustTorrent.ru ? j/k - mostly.
I mean, I obviously DO get the point..... but I also see widely contrasting and contradictory rules on porn vs. non-porn items. Just as one example, downloaded this on freeleech and by just looking at the photos... it appeared to be gay-themed porn. There is no transgender button to VOTE on it..... and I do not want to see pussy/cunt/female parts.... even if it is without boobies.... (ie. female to male trans)...... Stranger picks up Hitch hiker in the Woods. It is (from most people's perspectives) ... a boy fucking a girl who takes hormones so that she suppresses her boobs from growing. If there is no category for it, not two guys but indeed the sex organs of a boy and a girl... TO ME... that is NOT GAY SEX. ---- We either need Trans category, for people to 'literally label' straight porn correctly (why is that on GAYtorrent again?), and a separate category other than 'Fetish' for the straight-male wrestling, modeling, and fully-clothed/Rated-G sunbathing. Maybe something like "Straight men who won't take their clothes off but we uploaded them for you to drool over anyway' - but, condense that a bit.
So here is something to chew the cud on.... I was asked to upload more stuff - which I replied that it had to be gay-themed to do so..... there response was this:
Well I believe that you can upload the files because there is gay content in some of the episodes the rules do not prohibit TV shows that have gay characters or storylines:
"What kind of torrent should I upload?
Porn: Gay, Bisexual or Straight
Non-Porn: Anything LGBTQ themed. Male adult physique/voyeurism material is accepted, such as: wrestling, bodybuilding, sports and underwear/swimwear.
Prohibited: Music, Music Videos, Commercial Applications/Software"It dosen't specificly say must be gay. just "Anything LGBTQ themed" and there are many shows well known in the gay community, have gay cult/culture followings, and have gay characters &/or storylines.
Several come to mind - some of which are already present on here from a multitude of various users:
The Golden Girls/The Golden Palace
The Gay and Lesbian factor: A 2005 study by Simmons Market Research determined that more gays and lesbians watched The Golden Girls than the general population in any given week. Admittedly, the show touched on homosexuality more than once: Blanche's brother came out as gay in one episode, Dorothy's college friend was a lesbian, and then there was that time that clueless Rose was trying to prove herself on her first day on the job as a production assistant on a local Miami TV talk show"¦What happened to the flamboyant cook?
Charles Levin: The pilot episode featured a flamboyantly gay cook named Coco (played by Charles Levin) who worked for the Girls. By the time the series was picked up, though, his part had been eliminated for two reasons. One was that the writers noted that in many of the proposed future scripts the main interaction between the women occurred in the kitchen while preparing and eating food, and a separate cook would distract from that camaraderie. In addition, the character of Sophia had originally been planned as an occasional guest star, but Estelle Getty had tested so strongly with preview audiences that the producers quickly made Sophia a regular character (and chief chef), which made Coco superfluous. The Golden Girls addressed many gay characters and gay themed topics (like same-sex marriage, and AIDS - which was considered a gay issue back then). Even a main character (also on The Golden Palace) had a gay brother. Dorothy's roommate from college, also gay, comes for a visit and falls in love with Rose. The Golden Girls was even featured on several episodes of HBO's Looking.

The first season of HBO’s Looking closed with the theme song from The Golden Girls, a testament to the ’80s sitcom’s enduring effect on gay men. Here’s why queer people continue to flock to the series, nearly 30 years after its premiere.

We all, okay well, most of us just luuuuuv Edina & Patsy, but let's face it - they are not gay. Sure, there is the mysterious son that turns up much later who is gay… and the ex-husband who comes around once in a blue moon who is gay. But is it a gay-themed show? Should it be here?
Absolutely Fabulous does not have a main gay character either nor is it gay themed! Yet it has several current uploads seeding on this site! The 2002 Christmas special, the episode entitled: 'Gay' (retitled and issued as Absolutely Fabulous in New York for the United States) introduces 'the gay son' to us for the first time. Although we have heard many mentions of Serge Turtle, this is our first on-screen glimpse of the character.
In the United States, Absolutely Fabulous has been broadcast on LOGO a gay-oriented channel aka Gay tv. In Germany, it was broadcast by the Franco-German TV network Arte and gay-oriented channel TIMM. The Last Shout and Gay (which were released in the UK individually) were released as a collection called Absolutely Special in 2003.Designing Women

'Designing Women' Made You Gay - BY: Dave WhiteThe shoulder-pad sisterhood of ladies from Atlanta that paved the way for Sex and the City is now on DVD -- and Dave White is all over it.
Back when I lived in Texas, in the early 1990s, I dated a guy named Les who was really into country music. He used to take me to this bar in Dallas called The Round Up where gays in cowboy hats and boots would two-step. I couldn't dance -- even though Les tried to teach me -- so in order not to cramp his style, I'd watch from the sidelines as he spun other men around on the dance floor.
And then the music would stop and a clip from an old episode of Designing Women would play on the video monitors. It was the one where Julia Sugarbaker (Dixie Carter) is telling off a beauty pageant winner who has just insulted former Miss Georgia Suzanne Sugarbaker (Delta Burke). The clip showcases a hilarious, blistering monologue in which Carter recounts the story of a flaming baton thrown by Burke so high into the air that it hits a transformer, darkens the stadium, and creates a 16-1/2-minute ovation. It's a brutal scolding that ends with Carter barking the line "And THAT ... is the night the lights went out in Georgia!"
In that gay bar there were more than a few men who knew every single word of that speech, and they'd chant along and cheer when it was over as the DJ cued up a Reba McEntire song. The other thing about that clip? It got played every single time I entered the place. I haven't lived in Texas for 10 years now, and for all I know that clip is still being chanted along to like a miniature sweet-tea-flavored Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The same thing is true of the C & W gay bar in mid-town Atlanta called ..... Hoedowns!
Del Shores & Leslie Jordan both have used it in their stand up (gay comedy at gay pride) acts - they both mention going to it - and as such, it has made it onto their DVD releases of their stand-up acts... and that Hoedowns did the Julia Sugerbaker Designing Women "The Night the Lights went out in Georgia" speech. The Designing Women Talk Gay Marriage!
This is from a segment of the Designing Women Reunion at the Paley Center for Media. I feel everyone should see this clip as it tackles the subject of gay marriage among true classy southern women! "In fact, we want to thank our gay brethren" -Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, Creator, Writer & Producer "They kept us on the air!"Please, mull it over, discuss, post ideas on what your favorite gayest-for-its-time (over even gay for today) but not strictly gay-themed enough to be allowed on here... shows, films, items, etc. might be .... and, whether or not 'we' should propose some changes.
Best, and Thanks, -D
