It's freedom of speech, not freedom from consequences. She has a right to her opinion, just as a company she's employed with has the right to fire her ass. I've read articles and I didn't see anything about advertisers or financial backers insisting she be fired.
What's amusing is that the people defending her now are the same people that, when she was first introduced on the show, complained about her being a strong female character, that she was a Mary Sue, that The Mandalorian was just trying to be PC and add a strong female it didn't need to add.
I was a huge fan of hers from her MMA days and her movie Haywire. At the end of the day, she fucked around and found out. She's transphobic, an antimasker and compared being a Republican in America to being a Jewish person during the Holocaust. Girl, bye.
