How do you hide your porn?

+1 for "I don't". Like some other posters, I'm an adult and I don't have to worry about siblings or parents going snooping on my computer.
Another +1 for TrueCrypt. I use that for my kink stuff. In the unlikely event that someone accesses my porn stash, they won't be shocked or surprised to find out that I'm gay (at least they shouldn't be if they've been paying any attention at all. At the same time, I'd prefer that it be a little more difficult to find out that I think watersports play is hot…

+1.
Keep it inside folders that read program files or some shit like that. ;D -
Different strokes for different folks, I'm all about people protecting things to their comfort level. My friends are so terrified of the porn I keep on my phone that they're extremely cautious about even picking it up.

Another +1 for encryption. Encrypt the entire external drive you're going to use and just mount/unmount (lock/unlock).
Just be cautious with the shortcuts/links if you're using Windows. It maintains a list of recently opened files (docs, music, videos) so if the filename is a bit descriptive, it will show up in your recent items.
-
I don't. I just labelled my external HDD 'Porn Centre' and filled the main area with fisting videos to make a friend of mine afraid to ever snoop around my stuff.
(The Perks of Being in the Closet ;D)

I got Windows 8 Pro for £25 when it first came out which was a bargain as it is now more like £100. It has bitlocker included, which I think is pretty decent encryption software, with some recovery options you can hide awy so you are't completely screwed. I have a 1TB USB 3 (not full!) which no one should ever be able to get into. I sleep easier now.
Assuming Bitlocker is as good as I think, either be rich and buy Windows 8 pro, or wait for the next sale, which I'd say is likely from the increasingly desperate Microsoft (Kinect free MS One's!).

Micro$hit would have to PAY ME $500/month for using Windows 8 >:D

Yeah it pisses me off greatly and crashes at a lot of startups which I am sure Win7 didn't do but I might be remembering wrong and it might also be a coincidence as I have 2 SSDs now and more devices plugged in. As soon as there is a viable alternative, I'm out. But right now, I dont want some hard to work and be compatible with anything Linux option, or some still ludicrously cloud based Google solution, so I am stuck here I'm afraid. I like bitlocker though and the whole thing is pretty speedy. Also, Linux might have good options, but I am recently got passed the point where I can handle new tech, just ask the guys helping me with my porn uploads. I think 1 of 7 has worked, and I am about to call time on Jessie Balboa dildoing, self fisting, gaping and rosebudding for good.

I know the people behind Truecrypt insinuated that you should switch from Truecrypt to BitLocker. That is a load of bull. Microsoft is partners with the NSA and even makes corporate versions of Outlook easier to snoop.
And if that isn't evidence enough, the recently disbanded Truecrypt team also told Linux users to use whatever, and told Mac users just to put their stuff into an unencrypted, unprotected container.
Basically, literally doing nothing is as good as using BitLocker to hide your sensitive files.
-
That's scary to know. On the other hand we are all fucked by the NSA and the rest of them anyway. And I am more concerned about local burglers and neighbours and families getting my stuff, not the NSA who has seen everything by now and nothing of mine is illegal, except for that Brent Corrigan thing for like a month 10 years ago. Also, nothing digital is provable, anyone can make up anything and it can be reasonably denied at least in the courts of opinion if not the corrupt courts of law where zeros and ones mean fact, truth and justice.

I also put my porn in a folder, deep down in the system…
but I only keep it there until it's uploaded to my MEGA account (50GB free cloud storage), because I have an awful upload bandwith -
External Hard Drive password protect, but I mean I hide it. The password protection just people cause I don't want people to know it's gay porn. I mean if they plug it in there going to assume it's porn because it asks for a password. But there not going to assume it's gay (hopefully). But them finding it are kinda slim. Unless my straight room mate wants to be digging throw my underwear draw. Although if he does he's about as straight as me

I've got a strong password on my laptop, and I don't leave it lying around so I've just got everything in my downloads folder, along with a lot of bullshit. You have to go through a lot of weeding to even see a gay porn title come up, if it's got a proper title (Usually not). Maybe that I can organize everything in proper folders sometime.
But really, are there any people that don't have porn on their personal computer? Even I find the weirdest shit on my parent's computer when I open up the browsing history.
My download folders just contains an average amount of porn, but they include more men than average
-
I don't hide it at all. It's on my HDD main folder just labeled as porn. I also have lots of porn in utorrent download folder which my sister even use.
Idunno, I have nothing to hide, I like big muscular men and bears, so what?
It's clearly labeled porn so don't click on it if u don't want it. If you do be my guess and wank over it if you'd like
I also have it on media fire I lost porn before…. and it's just sad going on a porn hunt... I'm so happy about this site

I put them on a partition hard drive encrypted with password. If they were able to sneak through it the folder where all my porn were is hidden but what's inside the hidden folder was a single rar file with password. If someone managed to enter the password correctly with the rar file then, ooops, BUSTED! HAHA. Nobody has ever made it to the finish line unless I guess if they're FBI. jk.

My way is that:
I created a folder, and I hided it.
I use utorrent client, and of course use the Boss-key to hide the client. (for example Ctrl + Shift + Alt + F12). So your porn are hidden, and your client is hidden too. Meanwhile you're seeding of course. In my opinon it's a good way to cloak your torrents, and it's working. I have a straight flatmate, he uses a computer like a normal user, it's ok for me
Idea: you should use another profile and run that client here, or maybe use a normal utorrent for the non-risk material and a portable version (which is hidden for boss key) for the risky material
what do you think?
-
of course download because i want to collect the hottiest daddies! >:D
And must i hide it too….
i am using WISE FOLDER HIDER (it hides anything even files ).-I choose it becasue it's easy to use and small size. You can download the Portable version (without installing, just download>open>and use)
-You have to set password when you open the program to unhide (or to do anything else) ... when you HIDE somthing you dont need to write the pass just right click on a FOLDER/FILES and choose HIDE with WISE FOLDER HIDER.- You already can set password for individual files /folders
You can search google : HOW to hide folder with a batch file (but something error occurs and you lose your files (maybe)

To all of you who say "I also put my porn in a folder, deep down in the system…" I invite you to try the following experiment: Log onto your computer as an Admin user, and use the Windows Explorer (the file manager, not the Internet browser) and use the file search option. Its pretty visible in all supported versions of Windows (being Vista, 7, 8.x). Click on the main drive (usually C:) and then in the search put *.mp4 and press enter and wait. Repeat with *.avi or *.mov or *.wmv . I suspect it will find your files, and quite quickly.

Mine is under c:\private. Someone goes in there it's not my problem. It's clearly labeled private for a reason. My self-made videos and pictures may or may not have a password.
