      Hello 🙂

I have just received a PM with a reseed-request for this torrent:

      http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/details.php?id=15128

I have NOT uploaded that torrent, and not even leeched it - plus, it still has a seeder.

Why did i receive that message? Is there something i can/must do?

      With kind regards…..

      Thanh

Maybe this message on front page would explain…

2008-04-13 - Broken Snatched List Our "snatched" statistics is broken and need to be fixed.. this will take a while.. be patient.

You are showing on the "Snatched" list atm.

i didnt have the time to get into that problem yet.. you could help me debugging:

may you just start to download this file, but stopped it before it was finished?!?

          thx for letting me know…

            Hi 🙂

Unfortunately not, Tom… i never touched that torrent before i received that PM, reason being that i have that video already from a different source....... and for me, once i start downloading a torrent i pull thru with it, i never stop an incomplete one 🙂

Also it doesn't show up in my list of torrents, which i suppose incomplete ones should show up too? Like, when i start downloading one, it's there immediately.

            Have a nice day.......

            your Thanh

I had a similar problem with another torrent.

I wanted to download a torrent but it had no seeders, so I hit the reseed request button and I got the reseed request PM, even though I was at 0.0% still.

…As far as that part of the equation goes, I'll suggest that it's very possible the torrent again has a seeder, not "still". Often, by the time I get around to reading reseed-request PMs, other people will have responded to the request, and the torrent in question will have several seeders already. (Yay G8ts.ru userbase! We rule!)  😉

Along the same lines, I'm receiving system generated PMs letting me know about comments added to a torrent.  Only I'm not the one who seeded that torrent!

torrent comment pm's you get, when you uploaded the torrent OR you wrote a comment to it yourself before.

can you please re-chek what, or what not applys ? that would help me debugging

                      Tom,

Did you mean to quote MasterDave's post, instead of mine, in your last reply? Unless I'm misunderstanding, it doesn't seem like your response is related to what I'd written in the message you quoted.
